@Oscar , I think we had a discussion on AJK affairs a while back as well...and everyone could have predicted this. I didn't have a personal connection with Balochistan or KP, but the AJK issue hits close to home. Hoping sanity prevails.

If you had over watch you could have easily intercepted or killed the militant elements on the roof. You are already doing collective punishment by firing blindly into a crowd without due regard. Any competent authority would have pulled back and attempted to identify and intercept the militant elements. You don't see this happen in America, despite cases of police being fired at from a crowd, they don't begin unloading into the crowd.

12 police have been killed so far, any other state would have made Rawalkot hell for JAAC. You fire behind protester and expect police to not fire back to defend themselves because it may hit some unarmed protester? As if unarmed protester doesn't know what is going on by hiding these armed men among them.

if its is military gear, then it is military. Even if it is not, then those 15k policemen and other law enforcement agencies are highly incompetent.
Also, when forces kill, they kill innocent Kashmiris and not these rooftop unknowns. Why didn't the forces ram a drone into them? bcz they can be masked armymen.
