Unless those hydroelectric projects are funded by provincial governments, a province has no moral or economic basis to weaponize the resource for regional demands. Why? Because local residents do not contribute physical labor or daily toil to generate hydroelectric power, unlike farmers who cultivate crops. In other words, the people of the province do not bear the hardship of keeping these projects operational.
The output of such projects should therefore be distributed proportionally among the people of the nation. People also forget that Punjab has a population of around 140 million, so it makes little sense for a province with only about 5 million people to receive 50% of the output. Provinces are not separate national entities; they are integral parts of one nation and should be treated as such.

How old are you? Please go and read the constitution, and then the laws, and then all the discussions that have happened on this issue then come and discuss it.

Provinces have a moral and economics basis because it's in the friggin consititution of the country.

When you can't peacefully organise yourselves to become a productive and collaborative community with equitable distribution then you get this rabble.

Punjab is functional because its people don't pick up automatic weapons and form mobs everytime they want a freebie. Look how TLP got dealt with.

To be civilized is to be self accountable. State overreach becomes required to keep the peace.

Punjab is as close as we can get to a functional state and it's BECAUSE of the people there

Kashmir isn't too bad to be fair, even now any chaos is subdued and violence is more limited and unlikely to get bad

Other places however are insane full of absolute jahils.of the worst kind
