Azad Jammu Kashmir elections 2026

by who... and is there independent media there that can verify?
Very good algorithms that can do that - what do you suppose your definition of independant media will use?

After all, if you have a known anti state viewpoint- then indepedant media for you by definition cannot exist.

Does that mean that 40 people are not dead (that we know of) in AJK and the state is not commiting excesses?
NO

But that this image cannot be verified as among them.

I shared as Waqar Khan shared that he is a US-based Pakistani journalist. He could have overlooked and didn't verify.

at least whose stakes are not at stake in Pakistan like BBC etc. Nobody will be impartial anyway.

Commander Farooq

The biggest issue is that this is going to only continue being flamed so long as the original demands are not addressed.
Remove those seats -
Provide better services.
Then castrate and grind the instigators in public and no one will bat an eyelash.

Agree with 12 seats but to permanently end JAAC types blackmail is to make AJK a provincial province. Give them national parliament representation and NFC award. Obviously JAAC leadership will not be happy as they rather delude themselves and others in AJK about separate country and passport.

But AJK cannot go on like this for another 80 years in hope of liberation of IoK or even possibility of plebiscite ever. In any case in another 80 years there will not be any kashmiri muslims left in IoK the way things are going there.

Do not shot at police. Don't bring armed protestors. India have treated kashmiris like pigs since 1948 meanwhile Pakistan gave you the very keys of the state. Do not break this trust with militancy and BS demands which no state can accept. Don't make state treat you like they treat taliban/bla dogs.
I really hope to be in the same room as you one day. Nothing in life would give me greater pleasure.

Stop the propaganda bullsh1t. At this point you guys are acting worse then Phalvalists. I have seen videos of these PTI influencers on social media claiming "pura Kashmir khoono khoon ho gaya" so if protesters were getting shot then where is the blood on streets? Aerial firing is what the government is using to disperse the crowd and should not be propagated for massacre or genocide.
Indians used the same tactics for imaginary PAF kills, Talibanis used same tactics to show 400 druggies and now Imrandos and some elements of Kashmiris are playing the same nonsense propaganda.
You can't deny the video evidence so you want me to stop posting it. It's not going to happen. The establishment are thieves and murderers and I will continue to expose them as such. Your **** hold on the masses is finished forever.

Tell me what do you get from bootlicking? What do they have over you that you act like a slave? Or are you just so pig headed you can't accept a reality outside your ISPR funded bubble?

So youtube is your source of information? I have seen plenty of videos where the title is grossly exaggerated and no evidence is provided. Where are 1000s or even 100 deadbodies or their funerals? If 10 or 20 people died which is realy bad and should not have happened but do not exaggerate the figures to 1000s or 100s and do not associate big words like massacre, genocide, and ethnic cleansing with this.
Where did I claim thousands? Or even hundreds. Your immature distractions won't work. I played these games more than 20 years ago trolling Indians. They won't work on me.

Pakistan has failed to liberate Indian Kashmir despite oceans of money consumed by Pakistan Army over 70 years.

HAHA not this shit again. Here read actual history.

During the initial stages of the First Kashmir War (1947–1948), regular officers and soldiers of the Pakistan Army operated covertly in civilian clothes and local attire to support the uprisings in Poonch, Gilgit-Baltistan, and the tribal invasion.

They used this covert approach because a formal, overt war between Pakistan and India was politically and militarily blocked at the highest levels of command.

The British Command Constraint

Following the partition of the subcontinent in August 1947, the newly independent dominions of India and Pakistan lacked native senior military leadership. As a result, the armies of both nations were still commanded by British officers transitioning the forces.

General Sir Douglas Gracey commanded the Pakistan Army, while General Rob Lockhart commanded the Indian Army. Above them both was Field Marshal Claude Auchinleck, the Supreme Commander overseeing the division of the military. Auchinleck had issued a strict "Stand-Down" order: if a formal war broke out between India and Pakistan, all British officers in both armies would be immediately withdrawn.

Because neither nation's army could function effectively at the time without its senior British command structure, an official declaration of war was out of the question. When Indian forces airlifted into Srinagar in late October 1947, Pakistan's Governor-General Muhammad Ali Jinnah ordered General Gracey to send regular Pakistani troops into Kashmir. General Gracey bluntly refused to carry out the order without Auchinleck's approval, citing the stand-down directive.

The Covert Solution: Operation Gulmarg

To bypass this limitation and maintain "plausible deniability," Pakistan's military planners and political leaders orchestrated a covert proxy strategy known as Operation Gulmarg.

  • Civilian Attire: Pakistani army regulars, officially listed as being "on leave," crossed into Kashmir wearing civilian clothes or traditional tribal attire.
  • "General Tariq": Senior Pakistani military officers assumed false identities to lead the campaign. Most notably, Brigadier (later Major General) Akbar Khan took command of the irregular forces under the pseudonym "General Tariq".
  • Logistical Support: The regular military covertly provided weapons, ammunition, transport, and tactical leadership to the Pashtun tribesmen and the local rebels from Poonch, many of whom were WWII veterans of the British Indian Army.

The Shift to Official War

The reliance on fighters in civilian clothes and tribal militias lasted for several months. However, as the Indian Army launched a spring offensive in 1948 that threatened to capture the entire region and push straight to the Pakistani border, the strategic calculus changed.

By May 1948, the pretense of "plausible deniability" was dropped. The Pakistan Army officially deployed regular, uniformed units into the conflict to establish defensive lines, marking the transition from a covert proxy conflict into a conventional interstate war.
