... it means all the hype and PR showing the president in front of PAF JF-17Cs and claiming on 25 September 2024 via Azerbaijani state media "that the JF-17 Block 3 was presented to the President of Azerbaijan on the sidelines of Adex 2024 expo" and that "The jets have already been integrated into the arsenal of Azerbaijan's Air Force" were a lie?

I still remember all the critics & hate I received only since I mentioned "hey, these JF-17s are clearly PAF birds including PAF markings!"

How should anyone outside this strange way of thinking - similar to these fakes claims with Sudanese & Egypt's J-10CE - should believe what such state-media claims? We delivered them "Thrust me brother, I know", "dare you to question such reports, you evil foreigner" and "we will get the J-35 in 2025, I know it!"

Now it seems, it was all PR, all only propaganda and all lie!?

No,

I believe they stationed PAF aircraft there, for crews to start integrating and working with. Their Aircraft were to be redirected from PAF orders so would be delivered VERY fast. This way, they had a headstart and will just swap the airframes that we have placed there, with their own

But to be honest and indeed that makes perfect sense: But if they are PAF birds still in PAF livery & markings and were sent "for crews to start integrating and working with" it does not automatically means they were handed over to the Azerbaijan AF and even more so " "The jets have already been integrated into the arsenal of Azerbaijan's Air Force" !

They were lend ... or is there something I miss?

It depends on what you're reading from the statement. IMO, integrated into the arsenal of the AzAF refers to crews, networking, support etc.

If you think about it, this makes sense. We send a detachment on a temporary assignment, one to iron out any issues and integrate the systems into their local environment (radars, tdls, sams etc), to ensure easy transition for when their airframes come. Id say this is integration. They have integrated the JF-17 into their local environment and force, because naturally they have no pressing combat need rn to have aircraft there asap, the reason we sent on temporary detachment seems tp be purely just ironing out issues and integrating fully

Well, the point is - and I'm well aware several rate me a true pain in the ass, just this week I had some very nice conversations with half of Egypt and Sudan on "X" bashing me for how I, as a lying foreigner, could even dare to question local media reports, YouTube videos and other irrelevant newsletters from fan-boys that it is so, that one can now and will become even more blah blah blah, until the official military spokesman denied all this nonsense officially! - I'm looking for facts and indeed may have a different understanding for certain things, but to call a system "already integrated into the arsenal" means for me it is operational & combat ready and not just formally a deal was signed, the president was shown with lots of fanfare in a plane and nothing more but plans were made to iron out its integration.

But again, maybe I have a different standard of such things.

As such I know I have to endure criticism for being critically, but it only reinforces my point of view that most of these reports, even from presidents, semi-governmental or government-affiliated media in these countries, should be interpreted differently than a press release from Airbus, Lockheed Martin or a defense ministry such as Germany or France.

Consequently, I maintain that these aircraft will only become an integral part of the Azerbaijan Air Force when the aircraft are seen in the appropriate paint job and markings, which can be proven by photographs. And the same applies to any Sudanese or Egyptian J-10CE and especially to any J-35s for Pakistan that are supposedly arriving this year.

I simply regard everything else as PR. ... Thanks again for taking your time to explain to such an "evil foreigner"! ;)

No man,you are correct. Don't worry. Your whole post is correct.

Don't know if you are bogged down in semantics or relish wallowing in them ...... bottom line is Azerbaijan is getting JF 17 , rest everything is irrelevant .

its all semantics andy, thats all it is.

To me, integrated into AzAF means that it is interoperable or made interoperable. By deploying a cadre of PAF B3's, they were able to integrate them into AzAF infrastructure, ensuring a smooth transition. Whether they're in AzAF colours, or PAF colours, if theyre integrated with their systems and operational procedures, it sounds about right.

Above all else though, not sure what the point in this argument is either, AzAF is confirmed to receive them! thats the main thing

Are you just stupid or deliberately twisting facts!

If someone tells you today he is flying JF-17C, which were just handed over and introduced into the AF, but months later news report say, they will be delivered soon, then that proves the first claim was a lie! And this lie is irrelevant to the fact that they may get them.

If you tell your parent you already have a son and in fact you met a girl and you were talking about having kids some day, does this maker you a father today? Surely not ... you lied.

And it's exactly like Minnie Chan claiming in 2020 the PLAAF would already have 250+ J-20s, which was the fact only much later ... so in return, Minnie lied! Is that so difficult to understand?

Mate , if we Google the meanings of semantics your posts may pop up as reference .

You tend to take everything too seriously. Regarding the JF-17 Block 3, Consider it in this way: Azerbaijan will get them eventually in future. To facilitate a faster integration into the Azerbaijani Air Force system, some PAF JF-17 Block 3 aircraft are currently present there.

Agreed and admitted, but it is a difference - just look at the recent Egypt J-10CE saga - if one claims they were delivered and are already integral part of an AF and ready for action and any critics were bashed down only to hear a few days later by an official Chinese spokesman, it is all fake. And here I feel the same. No-one denied the deal but to be bashed down since I demand proof for an Azeri JF-17C and now they report the aircarft are maybe not even manufactured, is a bit lame.

However I understand for some here alone the announcement, Pakistan may get J-35A is equal to we already have them. ;)

IMO it is not only semantics ... it facts today vs future maybe!

Any reasonable and informed individual understands that integrating a new aircraft into a nation's defense system requires a specific timeframe following its acquisition. The current arrangement with Azerbaijan aims to minimize this period. Claims that an aircraft is combat-ready immediately upon delivery (or even prior, as in the case of the J-10CE) are baseless and not worth addressing. You can't win over fanboys by going down to their level.

However, If you're in the mood for some amusement, you can certainly entertain yourself by playing with these fanboys. ;)

Oh well! You probably know me all too well by now... it's actually a mixture of stubbornness, a very narrow understanding of fact & fiction and the almost masochistic fun of fighting with fanboys. ;) 😘
