The Prime Minister later visited the Aerospace Research and Development Complex (ARDC) and observed its research and development activities.

Various indigenously developed UAVs, (drones, kamikaze drones, interceptor drones and vertical take-off and landing (VTOL) systems,) were displayed during the visit. He also watched the flight of an indigenous quadcopter.

@LeonBlack08 @Avicenna @AbuShalehRumi @Michael Corleone @Arthur BAF has developed/is developing ISR UAV, Kamikaze UAV, interceptor UAV. VTOL UAV/quadcopter.

I am pretty sure they intend to mass produce them with newly built $50 millions manufacturing plant as they previously stated. This is good work.

We need both.

If conventional systems don't deter a lunatic from invading Bangladesh, we need to have the swarms of drones for the second layer of defence.

Even Iranians rue the fact that if they had a competent air force and air defence, they would have an even greater control of the war with US.

This is the situation BAF needs to avoid desperately. The need for mobile autonomous C-UAS is fundamental to today's warfighting. You need an automated radar and C-2 system like this-
(Cost only few millions each in single digit. Preferably equipped with soft kill jammer too)

That is networked with autonomous high speed drone interceptor. Good thing is BAF is already developing that part. It needs to partner with Turkish or Chinese OEM for radar and C2 part with some degree of ToT. And that needs to be done before we operationalize J-10CEs.
