Bangladesh Air Force

Let’s see 🤲🏼
Don't see this cabinet taking such strong positions. Even with full backing of the nation they are still hesitant on everything.
Asif nazrul is a cuck don’t expect much from his cabinet. The military is fully autonomous in its decision making now. Just needs signatures from Yunus.
They can suck my unwashed ****
Amen 🤣
Some Rocket artilleries has 170+ range these days.
Question is does India have them and what are methods to counter them.

Your air force operates like a relic of the 20th century, a time capsule frozen in obsolescence. In a hypothetical conflict, your skies would be cleared before your first sortie returned to base.
Indians have a habit of outlandish claims that often falls short. Like the wish to have tea in Lahore which was fulfilled some 50 years later but not on India’s terms….

One possible issue with underground hangars is that it won't be suitable in all areas of Bangladesh because of our geology. The soil is soft and underground water creeps in over time, so the damp conditions will possibly impact the operability of the equipment stored.

It is possible to build underground hangers in Bangladesh. But it may be more expensive than usual.

Satellite based imagery has gotten very advanced these days.

USA has at least one orbiting satellite over any particular point of earth every hour. Anything it’s enemy build will be detected within hours.

Our regional adversaries are not to that level yet. But still posses enough capacity to do the same within few days.

With the skills and hunger, satellites can be hacked.

The closest Indian military establishment is 130km away

Most probably because India was not trying to look threatening towards BD.
But If BD is building an airbase so close despite India's protest, India can also build new rocket force base and move 80-90km ranged rocket artillery .
300mm 120km rockets are under development. induction can take 2-3 years.

@Afif do you visit Indian defence yt channels.

india’s defence in the region is mostly geared towards China and the chickens neck. The major bases are located at or around the neck to keep the supply lines open… but Indian army doctrine in case of war with China is to open a two front… basically use Bangladeshi territory for their military operation. Which is why a base at that part of bd is necessary for deterrence posturing.
India may very well open up artillery bases nearby… and Bangladesh can strengthen their defence in return. Bangladesh doesn’t owe India anything.

Problem is there is still lot of cucks in the military top brass.

I will trust the chiefs, but not the people around them.
I don’t trust chief either. He still has to prove where his loyalty lies. I’ll do the translation of a recent video and tag you there for more clarification.

But tldr; dude did his best for Hasina even on August 5th.

I still don't why BAF hasn't gone for JF-17 block 3, get 2 squadrons with PL 12s to replace your J-7s for now and when Pakistani A2A missile program mutures acquire those that should be decent deterence because now even Myanmar has a better Airforce.

Few points:

1. It needs both PAF and China to approve. Previous government did not like Pakistan.

2. It does not meet BAF performance requirements. J-10CE would have though.

3. By the time BAF has any money in 2-3 years and there is an elected government, J-35A would be available. BAF inducting a new platform like JF-17 Block 3 literally makes zero sense anymore.

1. The J-35 won't be available anytime this decade.

2. What even are BAFs requirements? Bangladesh isn't a big country so JF-17 has sufficient range plus it also has sufficient standoff capabilities for deep strike.

3. If funds are an issue, the J-10ce costs double that of the JF-17 block 3 with higher maintenance costs too so your argument doesn't make sense.

4. The new government seems to be cozying up so that shouldn't an issue now.

BAF won't be ready to induct any platforms till 2028-2029 and so they can wait 1-2 years more for J-35A if required.

JF-17 Block 3 and J-10CE are both non-starters now due to lack of capability by late 2020s.

KAAN may be also purchased if Turkey can sort out a decent engine for it.

BAF needs platforms that can take on MAF and IAF and so it needs cutting edge fighters.

Would have been an attractive option if Myanmar didn't have them... now granted they don't have block 3 but its easier for them to get it now... even if we get j10c there's a chance Myanmar will also get it... also we're looking for a twin engined platform and fifth gen now according to our chief... so the options are limited

Myanmar doesn't think beyond its nose.
