If my predecessor takes it to a million for first time - all I have to do is add a big fat one dollar to get to a “record high”.

What matters is incremental year on year growth and cumulative growth over the tenure.

When you look at the numbers like that - she has no peers - least of all the midgets in the IG.

Hasina was relentless in increasing remittance - she ignored the BNP/Jamat by making it easier for women to go abroad and earn their keep.

GDP won't go down by anymore than 5%. It in essence is correct.

According to IG, exports were boosted by 10-15% in only the last 2-3 years.

This will have a marginal impact on the estimate of GDP.
