Sure..If Turkey attacks India..Nato will defend you against Indian nukes..if the war were to go nuclear and that is even if they could defend you against SSBNs and MIRVed ICBMs.

Even though NATO article 5 clearly states that a member nation has to be attacked first for article 5 to come into affect.

Just like how entire NATO is currently fighting Iran after US lanched a war against it.?

But sure Turkey is more important member of NATO than US itself.

That's some heavy odds stacked against you, if I were a betting man, I wouldn't bet the existence of my nation like that.

But who knows ..Turkish lives mean very little to kids like you.

Bur tell you what ..Why don't you come and test your little theory and deploy your armed forces in Pakistan for a start and see who in Nato supports your stance.

That will give your a litmus test of weather you should be betting the existence of your country so cavalierly.

You’re misunderstanding the entire strategic picture. Türkiye doesn’t “need” Pakistan, and we don’t need anyone’s nukes to shield us. Türkiye can confront India whenever it chooses — not because of Pakistan, but because of Türkiye’s own geopolitical weight and the alliances it sits inside.

Türkiye is not some side‑character NPC in NATO. We’re one of the alliance’s most strategically valuable members. Geography alone makes that undeniable: we sit at the crossroads of Europe, Asia, the Middle East, the Black Sea, the Caucasus, and control the Straits. Britain might be wealthy, but its location doesn’t give NATO the leverage Türkiye’s geography does. That’s just basic geopolitics.

And because of that position, Türkiye has the luxury of maintaining relationships with Russia, Europe, the West, and Asia simultaneously. We don’t have to panic about what Washington thinks every five minutes. Look at Cyprus — Türkiye intervened, stayed, and still holds the north. No one forced us out. If Türkiye wanted the entire island, nothing except diplomatic drama would stop it. We simply don’t need that headache right now.

Same logic applies to India. Türkiye doesn’t need to “mess with” India — but the idea that Türkiye couldn’t is laughable. Türkiye is backed by actual allies, actual defense partners, and actual strategic blocs. India isn’t. India has no mutual‑defense allies, no Article‑5 guarantees, no bloc that would protect it. Türkiye does.

And let’s be honest: Türkiye is technologically ahead of India in multiple sectors.Examples:

• Drones: Türkiye’s Bayraktar TB2, Akıncı, Kızılelma — India has nothing comparable in operational use.
• Missile tech: Türkiye’s HISAR and SİPER systems are modern, indigenous, and NATO‑integrated.
• Defense electronics: ASELSAN and HAVELSAN produce world‑class radar, EW, and command‑and‑control systems.
• Aerospace: TAI’s Hürjet, Hürkuş, and the KAAN fighter program — India’s Tejas is still struggling with engines and integration.
• Naval tech: Türkiye builds modern corvettes, frigates, and even its own aircraft carrier‑class ship (TCG Anadolu).
• Armored vehicles: Türkiye exports tanks, IFVs, MRAPs globally; India imports most of its advanced armor.

And let’s not pretend India is some global defence superpower either. Just look at India’s own defence‑export profile — its “top buyers” are countries like Maldives, Mauritius, and Armenia. That’s the level India operates at. These are micro‑markets, tiny states buying patrol boats, small arms, and low‑value surveillance kits. Meanwhile Türkiye exports drones, armored vehicles, missile systems, naval platforms, and full‑scale defence packages to Europe, the Gulf, Africa, Central Asia, and beyond. The comparison isn’t even in the same universe. India’s export footprint shows exactly what I’ve been saying: it has no major allies, no strategic partners who rely on it, and no serious defence influence. Türkiye sits in NATO, commands critical geography, and supplies advanced systems to actual regional powers — India sells patrol boats to island nations. That alone tells you everything about the difference in weight between the two countries.

And no ... I never said Türkiye is “more important than the US.” But Türkiye is absolutely one of NATO’s most strategically critical members. That’s not arrogance, that’s geography, capability, and alliance structure.

You can deny it emotionally, but you can’t deny it strategically.
