Bangladesh Lists 2 Riders For PM Rahman's India Visit. One Is Hasina Return

Never knew India had an extradition treaty with China.

Fact of the matter is, India imposed an extradition treaty on Bangladesh & now that policy, just like every other policy in its foreign relations in the last 20 years or so has boomeranged on India.
You missed the fine print in the treaty that says Political crimes are excluded. Her crimes are politically relevant as she didn't personally went there with an AK to fire at people.

No Indian policy ever boomeranged on India, our sarkari babus are autistic boomers who wordcell their way into the service. Take Afghanistan for example, nobody thought shit would turn in favour of India, but from debating Afghan Muj fighting India in Kashmir to look where it is now lol! Do tell me our foreign policy failed. Nepal had border dispute all of sudden just when India announced direct trade with China, then mysteriously they dropped the claim, the original documents of said treaty disappeared, Maldives was all up in arms for a while, India out campaign and what not, now radio silence. If all these are our policy failures then I love these failures.

Bangladesh is another case, the new ruler is working is way around and will soon realise certain things.

No, I didn’t miss the fine print. The Jamat e Islami guys that you deported was a political worker too. Fact of the matter is sheikh Hasina ordered and oversaw the massacre of 1000s of young people of Bangladesh. It’s something that she can not wash her hands from. Had she flown off to some other country apart from India, it would have been a great win for Indian foreign policy, but she didn’t & sought refuge where she knew she’d be welcomed & protected & now India is left holding her baby, that she can not keep without losing political capital & can not throw away without losing political capital.

According to your logic, if the Indian government goes ahead with a brutal crackdown against the cockroaches gathered in New Delhi, who are protesting against the BJP party’s corruption & incompetent education policy, and in the process of doing so a few hundred students are killed, the Modi government is not guilty of carrying out a massacre. It ll be just a political crime.

Such imaginative interpretation of facts & reality may work with the masses in your country but they seldom convince the populace outside your borders, much less diplomats & lawfare & security experts of other nations.

As they say, you can fool some of the people some of the time, you can fool all the people some of the time but you can not fool all the people all the time.

If you believe Afghanistan, Nepal & Maldives are victories for Indian foreign policy then who am I to convince you other wise. As a Pakistani, I hope & pray for more such victories for Indian foreign policy, especially the one like Afghanistan.

@Kharral sb

While I agree with the bulk of your post, I do think AFG is a success of Indian foreign policy? What can be better than rearing a snake in your neighbour's (as opposed to your own) backyard?

Regards
