Finance minister try to remember total defense budget for 2026. He said 9 billion USD, but it should be 11.5 billion USD. He is new FM, just a month

Previously Defense Minister spoke person said they are evaluating for J10C

I dont have much detail on this, it could be another variant. Just wait

But as it is second hand, so it is intended more for stop gap

All of our F16 are made during 70 and 80 (keep being refurbished and upgraded) while Hawks should be retired soon as British no longer support Hawk 200/100
 
The price I think also show geopolitical gesture, so both I think see this not only about merely defense acquisition matter

The J-10 order for Indonesia is likely to be a rumor. Because the archipelago nation of Indonesia, with its massive territorial waters, has a much greater need for heavy multirole fighters than medium air superiority aircraft.

If it is true, it should be a second-hand J-10B.

The J-10C is for PLAAF's own use, and they are all very new aircraft, so it is unlikely to be sold. Not even Pakistan got J-10C, but only the J-10CE.

Even if there is a second-hand J-10C for sale, it would have been bought Pakistan long ago.


btw: The first J-10C was commissioned in 2017, it has been in service for less than 8 years!
