IMF accepts Bangladesh’s request for new loan programme

There is a significant percent of people who worship awami league and india. The leaders have escaped to India and many of their foot soldiers are eager to visit their masters and get some funds.

India played this card hoping to show that there is a huge support for India. What the indians babus don't say is that for every 1 person trying to go to India 5 others hate it vehemently.

There is a reason bengal was the birthplace for the Muslim league and always won here.

The few strays who love lick Indian lingam have always been an irrelevant bunch.

It was Obama who made India the regional bulwark and that allowed India to help Hasina stay in power. The moment Americans changed their stance the house of cards came falling.

Indians are always over estimating their worth. If you can math let me know what percentage of people are visiting India from Bangladesh. Even with these numbers Indians can never ever get a strong foothold in Bangladesh like they did for the last 50 years. Global geopolitics has changed.

Multiple reasons -

1. India is still cheaper compared to China for medical tourism. It will remain so because of the proximity and overall lower cost than China. But in the last year during the Visa ban, Chinese hospitals built a good reputation amongst those who could afford to go to China for treatment. I won't be surprised if China opens up a few hospitals here to capitalize on that.

2. India is home to multiple European embassies that serves the rest of South Asia. People seeking visas, study permit etc to these European countries have no option but to travel to India. Except those who can afford, usually go to other regional embassies in Thailand or Singapore.

3. Relatives - lot of Bangladeshis have relatives in India. Predominantly amongst the Hindu population.

4. Religious visits - many Bangladeshi Hindus does travel to India for religious pilgrimage.

5. Tourism - This speaks for itself India has numerous natural beauty attractions.

6. Shopping - more affluent Bangladeshis often travel to India for shopping for traditional clothes for occasions such as wedding.

If India implements a ban again, life won't stop for Bangladeshis, just like it didn't for the last year. Sure it will be inconvenient for many but alternatives will pop out, and India will simply lose business.

One sound example is when India banned cow export to Bangladesh. As a result it was inconvenient for a couple of years. But this led to an opportunity for domestic cattle herders, and now Bangladesh has enough supply to almost meet it's domestic demand.

Now let's go back to the topic of the thread.
