Vote casting was free and fair, however, state servants manipulated the results in favor of the BNP.

Jamaat was leading during the first two hours of the election results, and then all of a sudden the results feed was stopped for several hours.

When the feed resumed, the BNP was surprisingly winning by a landslide.

In my opinion, self‑motivated state servants did the dirty work on behalf of the BNP to preserve the current state of affairs.

There were certain discrepancies indeed, however, there was also a lot of misinformation flowing around both mainstream and social media which might have given several false reading of the feeds.

If we go by the public opinions, Jamaat's approval ratings were going higher until late December when Tarique Rahman returned and the extensive media coverage he received, boosting BNP's popular support. I reckon the timing of election heavily favored BNP.

That being said, Jamaat and NCP still remain formidable political forces and it would be the best for the country if they keep up the momentum and function as a strong opposition.

As I mentioned earlier the AL is making a comeback in Bangladesh and the signs are ominous as most people will not accept the AL led by Hasina or her close family members or anyone associated with the past AL regime

The photo card below states that 39 AL party offices have reopened around the country; on March 26 the AL intends to hold rallies for party return; Hasina has instructed party leaders to return to Bangladesh and for party workers to hit the streets; BNP leader Moin Khan has stated that the party is not for revenge and beleives in multiparty democracy ~

This would be something I would watch with keen interest how AL will come back and BNP will assist in that without them being kicked out by NCP/Jamat alliance. No doubt everything is possible in BD but it will be interesting to see how it plays out.

Ground Alamat is not looking for July revolutionaries. BNP is gradually rehabilitating Bal, it appears. They just released Ivy and mafia lord Bodi from prison.

BNP let down 75 revolution and their motive appears to be same for July.

BNP should keep in mind, today's Bd is not the same Bd of 80s and 90s.

BAL found refuse in Bharat, but BNP won't have a place to run or hide if they cross the limit.
