Could you not just have done a Venn diagram?

There are

1. cultural leftists - want chauvinistic practices washed out. Plurality of identity etc Extremists want gender neutral bathrooms.

2. Economic leftists - large role for government and actively preventing wealth disparity. Extremists want government to own all means of production.

3. Secular leftists - do not want instrument of state to be used to promote religion. Extremists want the government to go further and use the instrument of state to suppress religion (e.g. France).

4. Geopolitical leftists - international law, multilateral organisations etc etc. Extremists want to abolish borders and have Global government.

5. Climate leftists - renewables, sustainable growth. Extremists want to suppress growth and go back to a basic way of life.
