Given the Nipah virus outbreak in India, which has prompted many Asian airports to begin screenings for flights arriving from India, I doubt this cricket world cup will be held in India.

India is the most filthy country on the face of planet earth. It effectively becomes a reproduction factory for the virus. The best cure Indians love to use is taking a bath in cow dung. The world still know the horrific scenes of tens of thousands of dead bodies of Corona victims being burnt in India. For comparison, the dead rate from Corona infection was 3-5% while that of Nipah infection is reportedly 40-45%.

The way this new virus, which is much more deadly than Corona virus, is spreading in India, I don't think foreign teams will even land in India.

Even I don’t watch it anymore. I find it too dramatised and monetised and there is too much of it. I remember I used to listen commentary of five day matches, each and every ball. Times have changed.

But, I see massive fan following too. Many people are getting away but hordes are joining in. Thats how there is so much money in it.

I was a diehard cricket fan and also played it at representative level but I've lost complete interest in it. The last few world cups I didn't even watch a single game live and I used to stay up all night just to watch odd ODI games back in the day and even drive to friends homes and even public theaters to watch. I have not seen a live Pakistan game in at least a couple of years.

Cricket is a dead sport walking, it's only growing in India. Pakistan should cut their losses and move on to other sports, but knowing PCB colonial cucks, they will keep sucking up to Indians for eternity one way or the other, even now they are itching to go and will end up going to India.

Westerns changed it to artificial turf as it favoured their style. You name one sport that hasn’t been twisted and tossed to own advantage by nations that had money power.

Few of us have stopped watching it, is due to our own biases against the current form of the game. The younger generation has seen only this version and is more than happy to subscribe to it.

Pak reference was in the context that Cricket remains a popular sport. People are likely to flock to the only sport visible to them. My intent wasn’t to trumpet Indian bugle.

I was just trying to bring out that, inspite of many members detesting the current affairs of international cricket, it is unlikely to die an immediate death. There seems to be enough following that is likely to keep it going for foreseeable future.
