Good, like I said the first mistake was giving boards outside big three a say. Changing venues for boards like PCB for convenience made other boards demand such things. It shouldn't have been allowed in the first place. If you don't want to play, you forefeit the match and loss points.

PCB is not BCB. Without India Pak games there is not much revenue for ICC. ICC had to accommodate Pakistan otherwise the mighty suppa powa India wouldnt budge

Bangladesh cricket will be in serious trouble if it tries to confront the BCCI in this manner.

Any league has the right to ban a player if it believes that the player’s presence will not be well-received by spectators and could negatively impact viewership. It’s their league and their money—so ultimately, it’s their decision.

In-fact, on multiple occasion BCB itself didn't allow Bangladeshi Players like Taskin, Fizz and few others to take part in different international leagues including IPL and refused to provide NOC mandatory to take part in those leagues.

It's always up to the individual board. BCB believed it was in country's best interest not to grant permission to certain players to participate in overseas leagues, just as the BCCI decided it was better to organize IPL without FIZZ. At the end of the day, it all comes down to money and commercial success.

However, the way the Bangladesh Cricket Board is making a mountain out of a mole hill and reacting to this decision could easily end up digging its own grave.

It’s also important to remember that there will be occasions when Bangladesh is scheduled to host international tournaments on its own. If India refuses to play in such events, there’s a very high chance the tournament will be shifted elsewhere. The BCCI generates more revenue for the ICC than all other boards combined, and the ICC is unlikely to organize a major tournament without India’s participation.

India Pakistan played least number of series last decade and yet ICC revenue doubled just because they played world cups in India. 2024-31 ICC rights cycle made $3.2 billion, $3 billion came from Indian market. The other tiny boards and markets are welfare recipients in comparison.

The time of India Pak rivalry making big revenue are gone although it gives money ICC is depended on Indian viewers watching a game than anyone else.

If you don’t have anything other than bootlicking India, then don’t comment

Who r u again? My views are solely my own, and they may differ from yours. Grow up and understand that u r nobody to dictate what I post or don’t post. I wouldn’t even know you existed if you weren’t constantly quoting me. That's how insignificant u r to me. ok? If u have anything to counter my post, be a man and present them instead of acting childishly by being a crybaby. :)

Perhaps BD would simply quit T-20 championship or cricket altogether? This will send the message loud and clear.

Lol. We are laughing. Bangladesh will not exist as a cricketing nation if not for BCCI largesse. Lets see how long that untalented weak cricketing country lasts in cricket now.

Posting a pakistani video to satisfy your dumb ego. 🤪
What are you going to do next, not shake hands? Gosh such powerful signalling.

The sooner we cease playing these puerile little c*nts, the better.

Every year they beg for "marquee fixture saar, must be Sunday for scheduling saar!".

Yes.

Hindustan will play us for the money, while refusing to shake hands because we are terrorists.

As I have suggested repeatedly on this forum, if you wish to boycott us for an ideological reason, then do so properly, instead of spitting on the quasi-principles you claim to uphold.

Don't come crawling back out of your holes for the pay day.

ICC events should be played regardless who are the team because points are important, we only put a hold on bilateral matches since then this haven't changed. Btw when's the trophy chor gonna give our trophy back after losing the match? Kek

Jeets got some authority in something (cricket here) and screwed it with their low IQ and pettiness

This is perfect case for why jeets should always be subdued and shouldn't be allowed to get any position of authority anywhere in anything

Trophy is on my mantlepiece. Send commandos and helicopters to abduct it if you want it so bad.

because points are important
This really says it all though.

Points in ICC tournament are more important than the widows of Pahalgam's spilled sindoor.

I will remind you of Iran's approach. They gladly FORFEIT any fixture against their ideological enemy, Israel, whom they also regard as terrorists, as you regard Pakistan.

So show consistency. Don't just bang on in press conferences and decline handshakes just for show. Actually forfeit matches against Pakistan. Political actions incur a cost. India is not prepared to pay the cost and will, evidently, climb down on its supposed "principled position".

Conflict of interest is endemic in Indian sports. Jay Shah is the ugly son of an even uglier senior politician.
