Bangladesh will not play T20 World Cup games in India over safety concerns

He is clearly a political appointee doing his utmost to please his employer. Cricket is the last thing on his mind. He is too foolish to realize that it is the players who generate all the revenue for the BCB, revenue from which imbeciles like him are handsomely paid.

Does this buffoon even understand cricket? More importantly, does he even want Bangladesh to continue playing the game? I seriously doubt it.
Sad day for cricket overall, now we hear BPL has been indefinitely suspended due to bcb being disrespectful to players.

Hope to see Bangladesh in world cup and IPL.👍

Breaking News:

Bangladeshi national cricket player Mohammad Mithun has been threatened by a Bangladeshi person. On Jan 15, this BD player named Mithun received threats via WhatsApp from a anonymous Bangladeshi.

The terrorist said to Mithun:
“U have misery written in your fate. You are an Indian agent and conspiring against the BCB.

Won’t you come out of the stadium? Won’t you go to the stadium? Which place will you stay safe in?

Not only Mithun, the militant also used obscene language to abuse the families of other cricketers and said:
“We are carefully preserving this picture.
Except for Mustafiz and one or two others, everyone else has extreme misfortune written in their fate. This will be very terrible—write it down.

@SoulSpokesman @BananaRepublic Looks like our Bangladeshi players aren't safe in Bangladesh itself along with their family members. Should BPL be moved to UAE considering the safety of the players? They must be in danger after such life threatening threats.
Ultimately its the players and fans that should dictate cricket not politics.

If enough players from Bangladesh form a union under CWA there is nothing bcb can do to stop them representing real Bangladesh.

Hopefully ICC and BCCI will support that like Afghanistan and WI.

It’s quite obvious that you are intellectually inferior and lack the depth required to present a coherent argument. Naturally, you resort to mudslinging as an easy escape to mask your hollowness. Do I get angry at you? Not really. I simply feel pity. U r too dense to realize that. :)
Funny that’s coming from a Mujib supporter. I don’t need to give an argument to someone who have a ghobor for a Brain.

Like I said, many user here have given you countless arguments yet you remain the same Lol bootlicking India and Hasina.

Lack of intellectual lol that’s basically every Hasina supporters.

I think the new cricket controversy regarding the remarks of BCB Director M. Nazmul Islam where on the insistence of some players wanting to play in the World Cup in India and their demand for compensation he has said, ""If they (cricketers) cannot do anything, then we are spending so many crores of taka on them, are we demanding that money back from them?" In response to another question, the BCB director further said, "We are spending so much on them, they are not able to do anything in different places. Till date, have we received a single global award? How much are we able to do in any one place? Then we can say every time, you could not play, what we have spent on you, we are taking from you this time, return it."

The question has now arisen about players patriotism and that their real motive is just greed so as I mentioned earlier this was always about playing in India and that the BCB was begging for Fizz to play in the IPL but then things got out of hand and we are now amidst this new controversy -

Apparently BPL league matches are being boycott by the Bangladesh players, they fear losing out on world cup over dumb politics will destroy their careers.

Seems the actual players themselves are smarter than the political
appointee board members like that islamist najmul.

I think it's back fire and fans are boycotting cricketers. They prioritize money over country's pride.

Not necessarily. Ultimately, it’s the BCB that’s under scrutiny for its incompetence and for dragging nasty politics into cricket to serve someone else’s agenda.

Yesterday, fans vandalised stadiums after BPL matches were postponed indefinitely due to player strikes—something that has hardly ever happened in Bangladesh cricket. Who is losing in this process? Definitely the BCB and Bangladeshi cricket.

The real winners are the anti-state cronies who want to see Bangladesh cricket collapse, just like many other sports in the country. Spectators are furious at the BCB’s incompetence and are responding in kind through vandalism.

Players cannot go against decisions taken by the Board. Doing so would look highly abnormal and would project a negative image of Bangladesh cricket to the rest of the world, potentially harming future sponsorship opportunities.

Someone is clearly trying to dismantle Bangladesh cricket in a systematic way—it’s becoming obvious. Almost every other sport in Bangladesh is financially bankrupt and survives on government support. Despite that support, authorities still fail to ensure even basic salaries for athletes.

Cricketers, however, do not depend on government subsidies. They earn independently and understandably want no part in dirty politics. Yet the current BCB cronies branded them “Indian agents” simply because they wanted to play in the World Cup—a major global cricket tournament.

Can anyone imagine BCCI officials saying something like this to a player such as Kohli? The people currently running the BCB are not here to work for the betterment of cricket, they are here to serve someone else’s political agenda
