The second highest peak of Galiat, the land of flowers, Mukshpuri Trek, Nathia Gali,
This is a 1-hour safe mountain trek to Mukshpuri Top and the second highest peak of Galiat which is about 9452 ft/3150 m above sea level.
The trek starts from Donga Gali at Nathigali which climbs upwards through a beautiful green pine forest showcasing natural beauty.
While going to the top of Mukshpuri, the hikers are presented with colorful fairy-tale carpets of flowers scattered across the green meadows of Mukshpuri. (Especially at the end of the rainy season)
Another trek descends on the other side towards Dingha Gali which gives you a bird’s eye view of the Ayubiya National Park below, this trek is not suitable for those who are afraid of heights.
The park starts from Donga Gali and extends to the Jhelum River. The trek to Mushpuri Top can also be started from Dingha Gali. It is a good trip for families to go out and enjoy the beautiful natural pine forest of Galiat.
There is a very small water spring at the top. You can also see the beautiful Kashmir Valley from Mukshpuri Top.
