RDSO, ICF, BEML. NHSRCL are working together to make the design and development go on smoothly and are suggesting changes as per their own independent study.

A lot of COTS are going to be used in the prototypes and things will be indigenous when being produced for NHSRCL.

As for the current status :

The design is complete and the manufacturing complex that will make the proto trainsets was recently inaugurated and by Lord Ram's grace we will see a proto by 2028 (2027 is the given timeline but I am also factoring in any delays)


For proof Here's a tender for Signalling equipment for the proto train showcasing that work in actively underway and it's not just a bunch of hogwash







Additional Info - There will be a future Aluminium version of the train capable of 350 Km/h (operational speed 320 km/h)
