Bird of Prey. Boeing went with a similar style from their Bird of Prey and it really impressed USAF higher ups. USAF went the opposite from the YF-22-YF-23 selection where they selected the F-22 because it was more common as the F-23 was exotic this time they selected the exotic fighter.... it also helps that the company invested a lot of $$$ on manufacturing plants making them ready to go.

You can tell that when Boeing lost the F-35 contract they spent decades on the next contract while LM was surprisingly half-a$$ing it by trying to have similarity to F-22 and F-35 which tells me they are very busy with the F-35 program so good for Boeing Phantom works they likely sucked a lot of funding from the civilian air sector which is possible for the bad press Boeing has been getting lately.

And Indians always has a tall claim that's their raptor of the east Su-30MKI can detect J-20 at long ranges without any solid backups to verify these claims and what about J20 can detect Indian raptor of the east Su-30MKI at much longer ranges than Su-30MKI can detect J20 and destroy Indian raptor of the east Su-30MKI long before then Su-30MKI can attack with its r77 or derby or ASTRA MK 1

The dihedral wing structure does seem to suggest a significant Bird of Prey influence. I wonder when we get to see more of it. The B21 announcement was a lot more transparent than this, i wonder why...

B-21 contract winner was announced in late 2015 with first concept art in 2016. B-21 was unveiled in 2022.

I expect first F-47 test aircraft to fly in 2027/28 and LRIP in 2029. This $20B contract includes option for LRIP.

It's not a black program but it's not an open program like the F-35 was... not even close. USAF and USN are not effing around anymore they are keeping their toys dark until they almost enter production. They still haven't shown what the Aim-260 looks like live and it's already in production.

Navy’s NGAD contract winner should be announced in the next few months. I imagine Northrop will win. Can’t see Boeing taking both programs.
