Since I'm likely the only participant in this thread who has been in the area of Area 51, let me be very clear: there is NO "visiting" Area 51. Base security is dead serious. You just don't go for a tour.

Even the mountain ranges that allowed for viewing access of the main part of the base were long ago annexed by the US Govt.
