Breaking News: Yemen's Houthis strike Saudi Arabia's Abha airport with missiles and drones in a sharp escalation

Don’t fall for this Muslim rabble stuff . Tehran were best buddies to Delhi and supporters of Afghan northern alliance all anti- Pakistani
Today your Muslim friend tomorrow your enemy. Geopolitics in the great sneaky game, that never ends.

sorry sir, no offence

for Pak. everything is sneaky

1. financial interests are sneaky; overshadowed by personal interests
2. geo political interests are exploited by the CIA and the West

i hope you get the picture, whats sneaky here is!

country which has no reliable power infrastructure, has no rail network
middle class shrinking, poverty reaching to the depths of void, it will now be ignored
and what not!

i could go no, but, whats the point, everything is conveniently sneaky

Saudi Arabia has signed the deal primarily from its own security perspective. If there is a serious conflict involving the Houthis, Iran, or another external threat, Saudi Arabia would expect Pakistan to provide political and potentially military support under the agreement.

But if Pakistan is reluctant to get directly involved, then it also raises a question about how much Saudi Arabia can realistically expect from the pact in a future conflict with India, especially given the strong and growing India-Saudi relationship.

So, from a general perspective, the practical value of this deal may be quite limited: political support during a crisis, diplomatic backing, and potentially defence supplies or other military assistance, rather than Saudi Arabia automatically entering a war on Pakistan's side.

The Houthis are the least capable of the three potential threats. If all three still can't demonstrate meaningful solidarity or support in such a scenario, then it raises serious questions about the practical value of the deal.

"strong and growing India-Saudi relationship."

It is BS like this that, despite some of your other good posts, stops us taking you seriously.

Saudi Arabia has signed two defence pacts with Pakistan, Pakistani troops and jets are stationed in KSA, during BRICS summit all leaders of BRICS showed up bar Saudis

Once you enter reality people may take you seriously on here. Yes, India is a big and important market for Saudi oil, and thats all they give a shit about

I would suggest reading the history from the 1950s to the present, India and Saudi relationship. The highlighting of the bold part starts from 2006.

No offence taken lad
My understanding is our solid relationship with Saudi Arabia goes back to 1947. Geo politics is complicated. We don’t choose the despots of the Muslim world. We just have to deal with them my friend the best we can.
Riyadh is an ally in trouble of its own making . If Saudi Arabia falls Pakistan would be worse place. It is necessary and sometimes we have do things in life are distasteful but are necessary We must help Arabia.

KSA is about to invest around 50 Billion dollars worth of investment in minerals and oil infrastructure with Afghanistan

as a pakistani, Im offended

we have kept forces in KSA (righty so, if they are needed), where is this amount of investment in Pakistan??

I know, at least 2 Pak families (obviously, I dont want to write the profession on the PDF, it would offend many!) here in the UK, who have bought UK residency by the dollar they made after working in such secondments!

Im not impressed with our management and exploitation of resources!

this is not only unjust and will result in financial destruction of our country

bec. CIA and mossad will say, even they are doing the job without money, whats the point of paying them!

These caveman in Afghanistan are sitting on trillions dollars of stragetic rare minerals. Why Soviet invaded it and USA .
China and Saudis are the only ones who will probably able to get to the minerals if it wasn’t for the rare minerals there Saudis won’t give a F for Afghanistan.

on the contrary..

India has getting saudi investment over time

this is not a question of resources
Pak. is very resource rich country

let alone minerals, we could have built dams and railway infrastructure to build trade routes, guess what, no one is conveniently always interested!

re. Soviet Russia, this require understanding of geopolitics from different lense (not from CIA lense!)

just one fact, when CIA started to move funds, in Pak. these funds came through political parties, were also called fundamentalists by Musharrad
