Breaking News: Yemen's Houthis strike Saudi Arabia's Abha airport with missiles and drones in a sharp escalation

The Houthis may have just made their last mistake. These attacks have handed KSA exactly the justification it needed for a much larger military response, and this time Pakistan & turkey could also be pulled into the equation. The gloves are about to come off, and the Houthis may soon realise what they have triggered.

What is more interesting is the apparent lack of any serious Saudi interception attempt. Whether it was a failure or deliberate remains to be seen, but it certainly looks like Riyadh was waiting for a reason to escalate. The Houthis just handed it to them on a silver platter.

Do we have a dedicated thread for Saudi-Houthi conflict?

I think the action of Houthis is beyond any justification and Saudis should invade Yemen to finally get rid of these Houthi terrorists

the houthis are being supported by UAE+Iran nexus.
They get great thrills when they manage to damage Saudi Arabia and its infrastructure. Their dream is to gain control of the 2 holy cities/mosques too.

Careful, you don't want to upset your Iranian members. Houthis are Iran's strategic assets, and part of their "axis of resistance".

Pakistanis have also been cheering them on all these months for attacking shipping in the red sea.
