My father is in the timber business. In 2017, he gave me 200,000 yuan. I borrowed a small amount of money myself and opened a small factory, entering the CNC industry. Then came a decade of almost complete personality breakdown. There was a shortage of working capital, unpaid balances, and insufficient advance payments. Then, use the earned money to pay the workers' wages, settle the supplier's payment, pay the rent, and purchase the next batch of materials. Add new equipment.... Then continue to wait for the turnover of the balance payment. 😣

When I was young and ignorant, I believed that the timber industry had NO "technical threshold". At least it didn't sound like a "high-end industry". Ignorant as I was, I even looked down upon this industry... Time has paid me back. Many times, I borrowed money from my father.

I admit that I am not capable enough. I am even inferior to my father.

Brothers. How did you make your first pot of gold?

My parents were divorced and neither taught me anything useful so my skills in business or finance are very limited. They did give me money to buy my first property which helped a lot so i didn't have to deal with a large mortgage but I don't dabble in things I don't understand well so I stick with land and property.

I believe my father had foreseen my current situation long ago.

Does anyone run a business in other industries? Is it profitable?

I live in the city, I have my own business but I would be happiest if I lived on a mountain on a small self sustaining property where I would have better opportunities to dedicate myself to spirituality. Far from the hustle and bustle of the city and the stress that business inevitably brings.

Well go get a University degree or Polytechnic/College Diploma.

Right now I am doing my Master's Degree. Try to find a job.

If I fail, I will do professional photography with my Nikon D60 year 2008 model.

don't be disheartened brother.
I'm 100% sure you've learned a lot with what you have been through, it had made u wiser and better for sure. Knowledge and experience gained is very valuable, no matter what. Keep trying and never give up. Perhaps also see if you can learn and emulate your father and his experiences in work

That's the price of running your own business, unfortunately. Therefore anyone who has the opportunity to live relaxedly on a property in nature should take advantage of that opportunity.
Thank you. bro. Manufacturing is a gamble. And it's a gamble with a lower winning rate. I knew from the beginning that it wouldn't be easy. But I still accepted the cost. I may have chosen the wrong path, but I don't regret starting my own business.

Thank you. Manufacturing is different. Once you get involved, it's hard to leave... debts, supplier payments, wages, rent, insurance, equipment...
