India pulled a false flag to blame Pakistan, indians were riding high on bollywood propaganda movies on behalf of the rss and the military made the mistake of believing in its own lie / exaggerations and western MIC overhyping their own defense products.
On 7th May the much vaunted IAF launched a bold attack on Pakistan civilian infrastructure damaging mosques and religious schools killing 26 civilians and injuring dozens. It was a message not just to Pakistan but the whole world. The power of the mighty IAF attacking Pakistan with stand off weapons delivered by the newly acquired Dassault Rafale equipped with the SPECTRA electronic warfare system, the IAF has come of age after the debacle of February 2019. The IAF had hoped the PAF would believe in the the hype surrounding the Rafale and cower away, they did not. Instead the PAF sent their newly acquired yet much maligned J-10 CE equipped with another maligned product the PL-15 bvr missile.
In the resultant air battle PAF wreaked havoc on the IAF by shooting down 6 fighter jets including 3 rafale, a su30, a mirage 2000 and a mig 29 as well as a brigade hq and border posts were obliterated by the PAF. Where india had dreamed of seeing the praise of its military plastered on international tabloid and india declared a superpower by the west indians woke up to a painful and disgracing assessment of their armed forces from across the world. India and its armed forces were humiliated the world over, nobody was talking about their sow bombing of Pakistani civilians but everybody were talking about their aerial defeat and to rub salt on the wound international war colleges were talking about studying the defeat to understand the complex nature of modern air warfare and how india failed.
India was a woman scorned and "Hell hath no furry like a woman scorned". Over the next few days india sent dozens of Harrop loitering munition and other uavs (most of which was shot down) into Pakistan to instigate PAF into an angry and foolhardy attack on india which would have resulted in PAF hardware loss. PAF was angry, the army brass was angry and to make matters worse the Pakistani populace was getting restless. But indian leaders engrossed in their hatred forgot that Pakistan was a Muslim country that was fully immersed in Islamic teachings and one was that
the Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) said: "Whomsoever suppresses his anger, Allah will avert his punishment."
Air Vice Marshall Aurangzeb Ahmad conducted a press conference outlining the successes of the Pakistan military and the damage inflicted on the enemies and released audio recordings and flight data as undisputed evidence of the damage caused to india sending india into collective hysteria. What was meant to anger Pakistan had angered the indians and in their anger they started firing Brahmos cruise missiles and ballistic missiles targeting not only Pakistani military infrastructure but indian civilians in the indian province of punjab. The gloves were off and Pakistan responded in kind only multiplied by ten. Of the thirty Brahmos fired, twenty two were intercepted disgracing another much vaunted indian weapons system. The resultant Operation Bunyanun Marsoos decimated the indian forward airbases, army bases and missile storage with Pakistani attacks reaching as far as New Delhi. With its pants around its ankles, indian government stumbled to the USA, Saudi Arabia and Turkiye to beg for a mediation for cease fire.
