Changan announced that there is high demand for the G318 SUV sold under the Deepal sub-brand. In this respect reports motor.ru.
“The base Deepal G318 turned out to be 30% cheaper than expected: only 176 thousand yuan ($24.2 thousand). “For a Changan SUV with four-wheel drive in the maximum configuration, you need to pay 230 thousand yuan ($31.7 thousand),” the message reads.
It is stated that under the hood of the basic version there is a 1.5-liter (150 hp) gasoline generator, at the back there is an electric motor (252 hp), and the drive is only on the rear axle. Gasoline consumption is 6.8 liters. per 100 km combined cycle. The SUV can travel up to 77 km without activating the internal combustion engine. The total power of the all-wheel drive version is 430 hp. There are five off-road modes and a simulated rear differential lock.
The car can pass a 600 mm deep pass. Additionally, the ground clearance is 210 mm.

Basic equipment includes 19-inch wheels, panoramic roof with roof rails and sunroof, eco-leather interior trim and seats, atmospheric interior lighting and all heated seats.

Chinese company Chery introduced the new generation Tiggo 8 crossover – Tiggo 8L in China. In this respect reports carnewschina.com.
The dimensions and wheelbase of the crossover with the L prefix are larger than those of the Tiggo 8 Pro Max sold in Russia. Its length is 4795 mm (+75 mm), its width is 1930 mm (+70 mm), and its height is 1725 mm (+20 mm). The wheelbase size was 2770 mm (+60 mm). Five- and seven-seat versions will be available.
The car will receive a 2.0-liter turbo engine with 254 hp. and the classic eight-speed automatic transmission. Front-wheel drive or all-wheel drive. With such a combination the maximum speed will be 200 km/h.
The premiere of the new Chery Tiggo 8L will take place before the end of 2024.
