China hits back at Canada with fresh agriculture tariffs

Tiktok sale is being used as a leverage it seems, now TikTok has agreed to lease its algorithm as well.

Well I don't think Chinese consumers would be missing much with Apple iphone or google search or Starlink
You seem to be completely unaware of these situations.

Apple's products.
According to official documents from Apple and the Chinese government:
1. 95% of the components of Apple's products sold in China are made in China and eventually assembled in China. According to Chinese law, they are Chinese domestic products, and their sales in China are not affected by any tariff policy. (Chinese law stipulates that if the proportion of product parts produced in China exceeds 80%, it is considered a domestic product)
2. Apple's product production lines in China account for 84.8% of Apple's total production capacity, and the proportion of high-end products is even higher. Among Apple's Top 200 supply chain companies, 84% are from factories in mainland China (foreign-funded Chinese factories, joint venture Chinese factories, Chinese-funded factories, etc.).
3. According to Trump's new tariff policy, Americans who buy Apple products (not made in the United States) still need to pay huge tariffs.
The situation of Tesla cars is exactly the same as that of Apple products.

Google
In the Chinese market, Google only has Android licensing services and consulting services, and all other Google businesses do not operate in the Chinese market. ------Many years ago, Google's negotiations with China failed and it withdrew from the Chinese market.
Currently, Google has Android licensing services with Chinese smartphone manufacturers (Xiaomi, OPPO, VIVO, etc.), and consulting services with some companies. Their advertising business does not operate in China, but is generally operated through Hong Kong or overseas agencies.
All of Google's direct-to-end customer businesses that you are familiar with do not operate in China.
China is accelerating the development of HarmonyOS. It can replace Google Android at any time.

Starlink
China prohibits Starlink from developing in China. It is illegal to use Starlink in China.
1. China is the country with the most developed Internet infrastructure in the world, surpassing any country in the world. The coverage of fiber-optic broadband, 4G/5G and other networks is amazing. Apart from doing some illegal things, I can't think of any legitimate use of Starlink in China.
2. China has achieved direct satellite communication for ordinary mobile phones without any separate equipment. They are completely different from the way Starlink requires dedicated receiving equipment.
3. China's own multiple satellite Internet/communication projects are underway. Their goal is not to imitate Starlink, but a new generation of communication systems.
This is one of many Chinese satellite internet projects. (Wikipedia is not completely correct, it is for reference only.)

China is ready for 100% decoupling with the US.

Trump can add another 50% tariff on all Chinese products, but it gonna become pointless when China will no longer sell any good to the US.

Yes, it is.

If you see what USA is developing, connecting it to Trump policy, there's indication that USA is going to bring back manufacturing, but the factory was run by AI and robots.

When the time arrived, poor developing countries will be useless. They will be downgraded to just raw material providers.

The chance for developing countries to climb the ladder, to be developed is getting much smaller. As developed countries doesn't need cheap labors anymore, because AI and robots can do it. There will be no investment from developed countries anymore. Developing countries will stuck in poverty.

The only hope for developing countries is the kindness of developed countries to share the technology so developing countries can become developed countries as well in just one night.

US average tariff on Chinese goods right now is about 70% counting 15% carried from his first term. Adding more tariffs doesn't make any difference since US will effectively cut off Chinese products if 70% is carried through.

70% is very close to the decoupling tariff rate, so any more tariff won't change that much.

And the American consumers will experience what the Soviet citizens had experienced in the 1980s with empty shelves.

Maybe not as bad as in late Soviet Union collapsing in the end, but prices are sure going to hike to the roof, and they will be angry.

China has also effectively cut off US capital and patents. Just imagine that China will use all US patents for free.
