Elon is already up in arms, infighting has begun. Watch trumpys billionaire buddies start to switch on him the longer this rolls. Trumps shock and awe only works if US largest trade partners bend the knee. Not much indication of that so far.

why would China care about getting soya from the US, plenty of places on earth to buy food from. Yuan falling is what China wants, ironically trumpy wants the dollar to fall to make it more attractive for export.

Trumpy needs his shock and awe to work where countries are too scared to call his bluff and make painful concessions which benefits the US. Short term this might work with smaller economy nations but they will look long term to address this unstable dependency. China taking a stand calling trumpys bluff might make others do the same. This has rattled trumpy, notice how his saying China wants to make a deal and making all the noise but China is ignoring him and retaliating.

There won't be a call from China.

Trump's assessment of the situation is deeply flawed and he is surrounded by advisors who share his own prejudices and ignorance. Therefore he deeply miscalculated.

His own arrogance and bluster put himself in this trap and China will gladly move forward with the execution.

There won't be a call. China is happy about this, China will escalate this.

U.S products are overprice junk, no one wants to buy U.S made cars or products when they can get the same product of the same quality for much cheaper from China and other places

People won't choose to buy because of the U.S own actions and behavior

I agree with you. I would rather buy the Chinese, Japanese, Korean, and Taiwanese alternatives to the American products.

Hopefully the USA empire's end is near.

It is ridiculous to see Trump administration figures talk and complain about the US buying cars from other countries and Europe and Japan not buying American cars.

Why should people be forced to buy things that they don't want? Even Americans are angry about the terrible quality and the prices of vehicles we have here. Why should Europeans and Japanese be forced to buy an overpriced F-150 that doesn't even fit their streets, guzzles up gas and has no benefit for their lifestyle?
