The only serious perceived card the US has left is Taiwan, that is Trump also needs loyal coordination and collaborations from the Taiwanese gov. China should only relax ban of heavy military REM to American defense companies until US at least stops supplying weapons to Taiwan and supporting it militarily and also in favor of Taiwan reunification with the Mainland .

I have no hope for peaceful reunification. I have seen the history of Taiwan being colonized by Japan. If the descendants of colonization cannot be cleaned up, their existence will only bring trouble to the country, and war will be inevitable.

That's why you see the Taiwanese now still worship the Japanese and also Americans. These are the problems when China take over Taiwan just as HK's troubles in recent years because decolonization of British is never carried out there.
