The US once mastered the primitive refining technology with 90-95% purity level, but they didn't want to do it anymore, and believed it was too polluted with very little profit.

It is only China who is pushing with the purity level of 99.9999% or even beyond, also to make the refining process more environmental friendly.

China is also the only country who can master the whole process technology of semiconductor of the entire supply chain.

China's 100% semiconductor is only slightly behind the western alliance collective semiconductor in 2-3 years, but no country on the Earth can master the whole supply chain technology alone like China, not even close.
