China, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Tajikistan Conduct 4th Round of Border Disarmament Compliance Inspection
2026-09-03 20:01:32BEIJING, Sept. 3 -- This year marks the 30th anniversary of the signing of the Agreement on Confidence-Building in the Military Field along Border Areas among China, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia and Tajikistan. On September 1, a joint military inspection group composed of personnel from Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia and Tajikistan conducted the final round of border disarmament compliance inspection for the year in the eastern sector of the China-Russia border.
Entering China through the Suifenhe Port and accompanied by the Chinese side, the joint military inspection group conducted the border disarmament compliance inspection of the Chinese PLA's Jixi military sub-command.
The joint military inspection group conducted on-site inspections of the office areas, warehouses, and barracks in the camp, and fully affirmed China's compliance efforts. Prior to this, a Chinese inspection group had also entered Russia via the Suifenhe port to conduct a border disarmament compliance inspection of the Russian 338th Guards Rocket Artillery Brigade.
