Chinese JiuTian or nine skies can carry massive amounts of ordinance as well as hundreds of drones as well. With many of these unites flying overhead they can saturate a massive area with kamikaze drones as well as dropping bombs and missiles.

The Jiu Tian (meaning "Ninth Heaven") is China's largest domestically developed jet-powered unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) and "drone mothership," manufactured by the Aviation Industry Corporation of China (AVIC)'s First Aircraft Design and Research Institute. [1, 2, 3, 4]

Key Specifications
    • Length: 16.35 meters
    • Wingspan: 25 meters
    • Maximum Takeoff Weight: 16 tons (16,000 kg)
    • Payload Capacity: 6 tons (6,000 kg) across eight hardpoints and internal bays
    • Operational Altitude: Up to 15,000 meters (49,200 feet)
    • Endurance: Up to 12 hours
    • Ferry Range: 7,000 kilometers [1, 2, 3]

Core Capabilities
    • Drone Carrier / Swarm Launch: Features a modular "beehive" belly/sideways compartment capable of carrying and deploying over 100 small drones, kamikaze UAVs, or loitering munitions mid-flight for swarm reconnaissance or saturation attacks. [1, 2, 3]
    • Multi-Role Versatility: Built with a modular payload architecture that allows it to swap mission modules for heavy cargo delivery, electronic warfare (EW), intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance (ISR), or civilian applications like disaster relief and geographic surveying. [1, 2, 3]
    • Milestone: Unveiled at Airshow China in late 2024, the platform completed its official maiden flight in Shaanxi Province (Pucheng County) in December 2025. [1, 2, 3]

A war with China will face millions of drones and unmanned combat vehicles as well as mechanized divisions with the most advanced weapons. Chinese industrial capacity and ability to absorb and replace any losses is the key to independence and true power.

Before drones and jet fighters could only hit a few targets then have to return to base

Nine Heavens can wipe out hundreds of soldiers before returning back to base

The development cost of China's Jiu Tian (High Sky) extra-large drone carrier is estimated to be between US$300 million and US$500 million, while the unit or operational cost per platform is projected by defense analysts to be under US$100 million. [1, 2, 3]

Key Cost and Specifications Breakdown
    • Development Cost: Reports estimate the research and creation phase by AVIC (Aviation Industry Corporation of China) cost approximately US$300 million to US$500 million. [1, 2]
    • Unit Cost: Independent military assessments and media estimates place the production/procurement cost of each Jiu Tian airframe at under US$100 million. [1]
    • Swarm Payload Cost: The drone can carry up to 100 smaller, disposable sub-drones or kamikaze munitions inside its fuselage bay, which are estimated to cost roughly $20,000 to $50,000 each. [1, 2, 3]
    • Physical Size & Weight: It features a 25-meter wingspan, a length of 16.35 meters, a maximum takeoff weight of 16 tons, and a payload capacity of 6,000 kilograms. [1, 2]
