China’s PLAAF Has No Crashes on Paper But What Happens to the Pilots Who Never Come Home?

China supposedly has the safest air force in the world with zero crashes. Funny how that works when a large part of its air force training takes place in the middle of nowhere across thousands of square kilometres with virtually no population. When a jet goes down in such a remote area, hiding the wreckage and covering up the deaths becomes a lot easier. Pilots are reportedly buried in secret and some cases only come to light months or even years later when their graves are discovered in village cemeteries. No crashes on paper, no deaths acknowledged publicly, what a remarkable safety record.

PLAAF does have crashes and reports them.

Just in the last 15 or so years, PLAAF has published like over 5 J-10 crashes, 2 J-15 crashes and some J-7, J-8 and JH-7 crashes. Some of these aren't even known publicly as in not noticed publicly. E.g. the J-15 crashes were not in public but were still reported by the PLAAF.

So your entire premise is already wrong. The thing you use to build your bullshit propaganda narrative. Try harder next time.
