Chinese 6th Generation Aircraft News & Discussions

Then why it gonna also destabilize the J-50 which is a 40-45 tons twin engine aircraft similar to the F-47?
We currently knows nothing about J-50, I means its REAL specifications (just have guesstimates and speculations) and I think we still don't have a J-50's clear pics on the Air base/airport so we we can get more accurate estimation of it actual size and forget F-47 its currently non-existent

China reverse engineered MIG-21 engines in the 1970s and 1980s. China received initial samples and incomplete data before the Sino-Soviet split in 1960, and then the cut off.
And completed those data through espionage, you should complete the sentence bro lol

The J-50 is actually larger than the J-20.

And the F-47 is widely accepted being 40-45 tons which is larger than the F-22, but not overwhelmingly large like the J-36.

Espionage in your mouth, there was literally no contact between China and Soviet from 1960s till late 1980s. Always try to belittle Chinese achievements and instead give credits to your white Russian/Soviet and Western daddys, pathetic.

How large J-50 is compare to J-20? any guesstimate? yes sure but how large it will be? will it be under above 60 feet and lower than 70 feet like J-20? (F-22 is 62 feet long) or will be above 70 feet like your J-11 series of jets? I think J-36 is in 85+ feet long similar to 50s era Soviet jet Tu-128 ( I'm comparing both only in size and nothing else)

The J-50 has the general consensus of being 22 meters long or 72 feet long.

It is not much longer than the J-20, but much more chunkier with much larger internal weapon bay.

And the combat radius of the J-50 is around 2200 km compared to the 1500 km of the J-20.

And the combat radius of the F-47 should be close to 2000 km or over 1000 nautical miles according to the US military official announcement.

So the F-47 is expected to be the same class of the fighter compared to the J-50 based on their size and combat radius.
