Chinese Aircraft Carriers - Liaoning, Shandong, Fujian and the future

Fun Facts:
The number "4" in Chinese has the same pronunciation as the word "死(death)." Therefore, Chinese people generally consider the number "4" to be unlucky.

IMO.
For a long time to come, China's total number of aircraft carriers will likely be limited to six or nine.
We seem to have overlooked the fact that the hull of the Liaoning aircraft carrier is already quite old. By the time we have six aircraft carriers, it should probably be retired.

I know, but still sometimes - esp. when counting - you cannot omit the number 4, so when they have 5 things of whatever even very much superstitious Chinese do not count 1, 2, 3, 5, 6 ? ;)

Maybe that is whay after Fujian they started two carrier at the same time so they can induct two in parallel?

Lol no, definitely far from such sensitivity.

This issue needs to be considered on a regional basis in China; some regions are not sensitive about it, while others are particularly sensitive.
For example:
In some Chinese cities, you will never find a "4th floor" in elevators or on floor indicators. The actual "4th floor" might be labeled as "3A" or something else.
Don't be surprised when you encounter this situation. It's a normal phenomenon in those areas.

Impressive aircraft carriers you have here.

Perhaps when the time is right, Pakistan should do a joint venture with China to make an aircraft carrier for Pakistan.

When the Pakistani economy can handle it, of course.

004 aircraft carrier update from Dalian via Syrida2887/SDF & @伏尔戈星图 on Weibo:

„It looks like the flight deck has been hoisted and laid, and according to the current speed forecast, it may overtake the progress of 80 Big E within two months.“

Maybe the Type 075/076?
