The building speed in merely half year is crazy.

USS Gerald Ford started construction 11th August 2005
keel was laid 14th Nov 2009
launchd in 11th Oct 2013
commissioned 22nd July 2017

thats 11 years and 11 months

commissioned for 8 years and 6 months

Total cost $13.3 billion + $4.7 billion R&D cost and guess what ?

still hasn't launched a F35 using its EMALS

China 003 + J35 + EMALS = Success

At an astonishing speed, when CVN-79 began cutting steel in 2011, the Chinese Navy did not have a single aircraft carrier. However, by the time it started sea trials this year, the Chinese Navy had already commissioned three aircraft carriers and was constructing its fourth.

Another update from @Captain小潇 on the 004 aircraft carrier!

Again artificially "altered" either to hide certain details and/or to avoid censorship. Looks almost like a pencil-drawing.

Or straight out of a comic book. But I like it better than blurry pictures because I am not a spy. :)

It appears that the carrier-based variant of the sixth-generation fighter J-50 is already under development, and tenders have been initiated for related equipment, including takeoff and landing test simulators, ground-based hydraulic test simulation devices, hydraulic test simulators (for simulating wing folding functions), and the power supply network testbench (copper bird testbench).
