Chinese Should Be the Official Language of the World

No comments from Pakistani members!

If someone said from india that hindi should be a official language of the world, story of thread would be different and more living.

Avoiding such cases just to escape criticism?

Well, what is this nonsense now?

Not really. If you know English, getting started on any of the european language is much easier. The script is still way easier than learning anything like Kanji in Japanese or whatever Chinese charecters are called. Each word is a symbol, each symbol can be combined to form compounds. Too hard and too much to remember.
You only have to learn about 3000 Chinese characters to be proficient in everyday Chinese usage, and many Chinese words are formed by the combinations of two or three of those characters, the meaning in many cases are easy to guess, and how many completely different English words you have to know before being proficient ? I learned French too in school, it is very different from English, both countries are neighbors historically though. You think Chinese is difficult mainly because you don't want to learn it if I am right.

"Compared with English, Chinese is a dense language. Its complex characters can convey considerable information in a very small amount of space, or where space isn’t a concern, convey that information more boldly. "

Dude - english is the easiest language to learn in the world. Try learning polish, and you will be happy that english exists!
I watched some TV program about speaking Polish days ago, and the pronunciations are just impossible, too difficult and complicated. German, Russian and Arabic are very difficult languages too.

Cantonese is not a language, it's just a provincial dialect, every province in China has some dialects. Mandarin is a Beijing based dialect or accent.
Both Taiwan and Singapore also speak Mandarin, cause Beijing has served as the capital city for China for hundreds of years so far.

Are you serious? There's far more difference between Cantonese and Mandarin than between Ukrainian and Russian.

So is Ukrainian and Russian writing. Cantonese and Mandarin are as much different languages as Ukrainian and Russian. They are totally unintelligible.

Western Children learn to read/write perfectly with 6 years old.

How old Chinese ones?

About the same age. It's hard to spell some of the English words like dyslexia just as it's hard to write some of the Chinese characters.

Chinese internet domain names are often numbers.

Why they dont develop Chinese characters domain names?

Because Chinese writing is a objective hard thing.
