It won't be surprising seeing how much of a scam was CPEC. Pak paid insane rates for IPPs and road building.

It is, when you've the govt machinery backing you up. CPEC money would've been siphoned using shell companies and cyphers. It's not rocket science.

Pakistani media did report on Asim Bajwa's corruption till Imran Khan intervened and PEMRA shut down the criticism.
Imran Khan saved Bajwa publicly and anyone accusing him was branded a traitor.

No they don't/ CPEC terms and conditions were always kept a secret. Pak does not have Right to Information act like India, so public projects can be kept secret.
