Cool. Since I’m from Texas, I’ve being sailing from Galveston. I was on Liberty of the Sea twice and then Allure two Thanksgivings ago. I’m hoping to get on Harmony before it left Texas.

I had scheduled to go on a cruise from New York that include bar harbor this past October but had to cancel due to health issues. That would have been an Amazing trip as Acadia NP is in our bucket list.

ok, I suggest instead of Bar Har\bor/Bermuda you fly to the Big Island of Hawaii, rent a car, drive around the ENTIRE Island (it is amazing scenery and worth every damn penny...plus zero traffic), and then jump onto one of the numerous cruise ships that sail around the islands (which I didn't do). I also drove on Oahu but the single-lane-each-way traffic jams were so insane it ruined everything (I stayed in touristy Waikiki for 2 nights..not bad actually...however the sands of the beaches have long washed away). I heard traffic was the same on Maui. Probably better just to do cruise port visits to them instead.

It’s in our bucket list to go to the big Island. I’ve been to Oahu and Maui. And I’m not sure about going on the pride of America as it’s pricy. But big island is in our radar. No plans to g9 there any time though.

Our vacations would consist of cruises or land based. For cruises, besides our normal Galveston sailing, we want to do Norwegian Fjords and return to Alaska, this time to Glacier Bay. For land based, Machu Picchu is on the top of our destination. As well as Egypt and Jordan. Our goal is to visit the third world countries while we are relatively young. Even though we are toward the end of our Middle Ages. And visit Europe, East Asia and around the states once we retire.

So Bermuda was disappointing. It was like visiting a sleepy Mexican village. I'd push it down the list. Arcadia is nice but not spectacular. Your other trips sound great.

For Acadia, we want to visit for the fall colors. At least my wife wants to. I’m there for the lobsters. 😁

Ok the fall would be a better time to go to Acadia as you'll have something to look at other than endless green trees. Since you have done Alaska I guess I don't have to warn you things can be a bit chilly up here in the fall and you wont be jumping out of your car much (or hanging out on the deck).
