Deals for 26 Rafale-M jets, three Scorpene submarines to be signed by next month: Navy Chief

What is the post & what discussion is going on, 3 pages without any serious discussions on that topic posted, thread is filled with jokes & trolling. Atleast Indian members should refrain from unnecessary reply to trolling posts.

26, scuse the typo

serious to note
1. Confirmation of INS Arighaat successfully firing Submarine Launched Ballistic Missile (SLBM) - which means a major change in Thinktanks views & strategic decision making and India's decision to conduct longer range missiles which was earlier refrained atleast publicly.

2. First indigenous nuclear attack submarine SSN would be ready by 2036-37 and 2 are in construction plans which is already got approval from CCS.

3. 26 Rafale-M fighter jets will be singed in coming months

4. as I had already informed earlier post Three additional Scorpene-class conventional submarines.

but Chief is silent on P-75I, Indigenous SSKs, New Gen Destroyers, Frigates & Corvettes

Can't wait to see Project 18 Destroyers becoming a reality with 144 VLS capability....

In the 2020 Battle of Kalwan, hundreds of Indian soldiers were captured by the Chinese army. Hundreds of Indian soldiers were defeated by less than 100 Chinese soldiers. Indians have always liked to describe failure as victory,Indians like to kneel before Chinese soldiers. :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO:

And yet China backed down :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO:

Its not really Chinese logic at work here. It is a fanboy logic. Especially a fanboy who makes money by selling Chinese worship since 2007 or so. You should look into Mr. Deino's career. All he does these days is writing utterly stupid books on China and selling it on Amazon.

He has no real diplomatic experience. He does not even have a pilot's license and he sells books on Chinese Aviation billing himself as some kind of expert.

In reality, he is a failed Chemistry teacher turned into some kind of "X"-pert.

You are so much funny and if you think, this is me, then it totally explains why you are so much off with any of your posts: You are either just too stupid or brainwashed to understand.

Maybe you should better check my stupid books, which - especially those on PLAAF and other branches Orbats - were eagerly bought by the Indian MoD (we sent a parcel directly to them ordered directly via the embassy) and others you surely should not rate stupid are quite fond of them: 😘

And why you think I'm a "failed Chemistry teacher" is beyond my understanding since I'm still active in this job without any complaints and as such it is just another lame attempt drawn out of your ass to insult!

Maybe it's just you who's too stupid to comprehend? 🤡

But you, the anon dude on the internet should be taken more seriously?

Nice one Deino, possibly the biggest burn I have ever read on this forum. Think Ajay may have trouble sitting properly for the next few weeks....

The funny part of this story is, it is not me who is mentioning these issues and even if he insists to insult me even more, even if he claims the sky is green, this does not change reality.

Like I already posted some time ago: A year ago I had a very intensive conversation with an Indian analyst whom I respect very much and interestingly he not only agreed with me on most (in fact ALL) of the concerns I raised, but said that there is simply no solution.

The fact is (as far as he knows) that the lifts on the Vikrant in particular are too small and the hangar doors and openings in the fuselage are too small too. Consequently, removing the wingtips (and not just the launch rails for AAM) is actually an option, but India has not yet officially commissioned this and apparently does not want to pay for the modification or certification. The alternative would be a conversion including cutting open the hull structure of the carrier to install wider doors and to accommodate larger lifts, but there is no plan for this either... according to his assessment and knowledge, this remains unresolved and the Rafales will have to remain just on deck... the IN is silent on this!

As I said, this is not mine... but I would be happy to learn more from anyone with better knowledge or information.

So ultimately your best source is a very respectful Indian analyst.... enough said....

Most Indian members here simply will not want to believe this, hence the personal attacks...

Getting back to topic

Having 62 Rafales in India is better than 36 so good move regardless of what china or Pakistan does

9 scorpene subs is better than six scorpene subs ...again regardless of neighbours inductions

In the meantime time I fully expect 80 Tejas to be delivered next five years and more Tejas to follow beyond 2030

Somebody made a really good point earlier that being that
Tejas mark 2 will be used to test Amca technology or USA ge414 engines and bigger Indian Aesa radars and next gen astra rudram missles and unmanned teaming

This will then be used in Amca which should start arriving 2035

To fill falling numbers of fighters I expect
Another 97 Tejas mark one
36/72 Rafales F4/F5...
