Deportation Operation - News, Discussion

Out of all the dislike and hatred I have for this form 47 government setup I will always respect them for this decision of kicking out every namak Haram afghan snake out of Pakistan.
I believe not even on visas afghans should be allowed inside pakistan because of terrorism threat.
Only afghan embassy staff should be allowed in Pakistan under stricit observance.

Is there a tally somewhere of how many are being deported? I don't think enough is being done.

Expel all of them cancel their degrees. Let them chant jai hind in Indian universities if India is willing to take this scum in their country.

They have been trying to force a relationship with Afghanistan since the 80s. What an abusive relationship, 20 years of non stop attacks and they still peddling the "brother country" mantra while the military wants to attack them but not follow through properly.

A very strange scenario. Government and military don't seem to be aligned at all.

Punjab govt wants to get rid of afghans but KPK govt doesnt. We don't even know whats going on in Sindh.

This is just about 20 afghans. What about the millions of visa holders and illegals? Or the ones who inserted themselves into Pakistani families? What about their children, their childrens children?

What about the decades of cross border free movement in FATA? Who is a Pakistani there and who is not?

Why are they issusing visas to citizens of a country that is openly hostile and is causing daily fatalities?

How can you expect FDI in this enviornment?

This is the equivalent of Punjab having no border security with India and Indian Punjabis flooding into Pakistan Punjab and everyone accepting this as a status quo.

How different would the May 2025 war with India turned out? It would have been a full on infiltration and bases would have been attacked.

Stupidest decision to kick out students or businessmen. Bring the businessmen into tax bracket and leave the students alone, let them study. By kicking out the students you are alienating the younger generation of eductated afghanis. No matter how much you hate them, they are still your neighbours. I am all for the boundry wall and making sure that whoever enters, enters on a valid visa. But to outright kick out those that are paying to be here is quite stupid and shortsighted

Even though Hind means the Indus land. Another geographical theft.

LAHORE: The Foreign National Security Cell of the Punjab Home Department has intensified campaign for the repatriation of illegally residing Afghan nationals.

In accordance with government policy, illegally residing Afghan nationals are being apprehended and shifted to holding centres, where the necessary documentation and legal formalities are completed before they are repatriated to Afghanistan.

So far, a total of 2,760,653 illegal Afghan residents have been repatriated from Pakistan, including 142,820 from Punjab. According to the Punjab Home Department spokesperson, under the clearly defined policy of the Government of Pakistan, the stay of Afghan nationals without a valid visa is illegal.

As part of the ongoing crackdown, residential areas and markets across the province are being thoroughly checked, and illegally residing Afghan nationals are being apprehended and transferred to holding centres.

According to a senior officer, 39 holding centres are currently operational across Punjab, where 213 Afghan nationals are presently housed. The holding centres have arrangements for the temporary accommodation, registration and repatriation of illegally residing Afghan nationals. The illegally residing Afghan nationals are subsequently handed over to Afghan authorities at the Torkham border.

The sources said that the figures reflect the effective strategy and proactive administrative measures adopted by the Government of Punjab. He added that the cooperation of all Pakistanis is required for the successful completion of the national repatriation effort.

The public is urged to report the illegal stay, identity fraud or suspicious activities of Afghan nationals to Emergency Helpline 15.

The identity of informants will be kept strictly confidential. It is said that action is being taken only against individuals residing illegally in Pakistan. To facilitate the completion of this national mission, the Foreign National Security Cell of the Punjab Home Department is carrying out province-wide monitoring and coordination.
