We assume that the F-47 has already been built and even tested. And Trump is willing to keep it secret. But. How can you convince me that it is logical to hype it up under confidentiality?

Oh. So the F-47 is not in a confidential state. It has always been public. So some of the talk in this thread about "the US will keep it secret, implying that the F-47 has already been completed" is just hype. So the F-47 has not been built yet, and it hasn't even been finalized?

And USAF has history to reveal their top-secret project long time after they were introduce to the public A-12 (SR-71) revealed after 20 years in USAF service, F-117 was introduced in early 80s but revealed by USAF in early 90s and same goes to B-2, NGAD or F-47 project is not a public project kid

People are underestimating the Usa, they are a superpower, who controls the world economy, trade, have bases all over the world and military/defence/economic allies. But we also cannot deny China is catching up in one v one military terms.

Boeings NGAD prototype has been flying for 7-8 years. Final production F-47 has not flown yet.

F-47 is “hyped up” because the US has a long history of developing the most advanced aircraft in the world and F-47 is the successor to the F-22.

Let's not ignore the fact that just about every country that develops aircraft is now doing so with the aid of computer simulation. I can't think of an airframe in the last 30 years or so that did not have simulation as part of the design and development.

To your point, you are correct. Many people have no idea what is going on behind the scenes. As @Oscar pointed out, the F-117 was flying for years before it was made public. And now all of a sudden, the Chinese are the new leaders in advanced aircraft development because they have a few test aircraft flying.

RQ-180 has been flying for almost a decade and conducted combat operations over Iran. We know very little about this aircraft and the Air Force still doesn’t acknowledge it.
