The text of the calls is as follows:
The calls took place between Muhammad Morsi and Ayman al-Zawahiri via Thuraya’s phone, and some of them took place from inside the Republican Palace, and are described as follows:
* The first talks about confirming Al-Qaeda’s support for the Brotherhood, through the group’s international organization
Khairat Al-Shater then officially contacted Muhammad Al-Zawahiri, for coordination, and met with him repeatedly after that.
* The second revealed the activation of cooperation between the presidency and the Brotherhood on the one hand, and Al-Qaeda on the other, to “create cells inside the country that protect the Brotherhood regime.” Morsi blamed the leader of Al-Qaeda for his attack at the time on the Brotherhood’s ruling regime
He pledged to him, saying: “We will implement Sharia and legitimacy, to the satisfaction of the group, but we are in the stage of empowerment and need the support of all parties, and it is not permissible for us from now to apply the same Iranian approach, or the Taliban’s rule in Egypt.” Ayman replied: “You must release the jihadists who were in Mubarak’s prisons, all of them, as a guarantee and a pledge to deal with them.”
" And confirmation of turning the page on the past.” Morsi promised him to facilitate the return of Muhammad al-Zawahiri to Cairo.
Note: A complete list of prisoners was subsequently released as part of a list prepared by Muhammad al-Zawahiri, in coordination with his brother Ayman, and it was presented to the presidency, which approved her pardon. They became the nucleus of the Takfiris in Sinai, in partnership with Hamas
* Third, Morsi repeated his pledge that no jihadist would be arrested during his reign, and that jihadi and Salafist jihadi groups would not be harassed. By continuing the communication that began before he assumed the presidency with the groups, and by preventing the security forces from pursuing armed groups in Sinai.
Ayman requested the opening of camps in Sinai “to support and train the brothers.”
Morsi revealed to him that the Brotherhood organization intended to “form a Revolutionary Guard” to confront any attempt to overthrow the legitimacy. He asked Al-Zawahiri to support the groups and train them, and promised to establish training camps for them in Sinai, secure support from the Brotherhood organization, and provide all facilities for them near the Libyan border.
As a result, Mohamed Morsi effectively provided four training camps for jihadist groups, and stopped many military operations in Sinai.”
The last call or farewell call before Morsi is removed is as follows:
* Four in the morning on June 30, took place in the presence of Asaad Al-Sheikha, Rifa’a Al-Tahtawi, and the presidential security official.
Morsi incited him to attack the army in Sinai, demanded that he support the legitimacy of the presidency, and provoke chaos. He told him: “There are people who want to turn against legitimacy, and the opposition must be eliminated, and I call on jihadists everywhere to help us.”
Sheikha actually met Muhammad al-Zawahiri after the call
He asked him to have jihadist groups protect the presidency and suppress the opposition. Al-Shater met, in the morning of the same day, with a delegation of jihadists, in the presence of Muhammad Al-Zawahiri, and asked them to support the group and the presidency, to prevent an early fall, and Muhammad Al-Zawahiri promised him this.
Those were the four calls that make up the largest audio document on record
