"EGIC" is the first integrated factory for manufacturing electric elevators in Egypt
In cooperation between Military Production and the Saudi Gulf Elevators and Escalators Company.

The factory area is 60,000 square meters and includes 3 production lines. The factory supplied more than 4,000 elevators to residential neighborhoods in the Administrative Capital (Egyptian industry)

Egypt has laid out a plan to produce 42% of its electricity production from renewable sources by 2035, compared to just 10% in 2023.

Egypt is the largest renewable energy producer in the region with capacities of up to 6.5 Gigawatts of Egypt’s total capacity of 59.5 Gigawatts, aiming to establish a large number of wind farms and solar power plants most importantly; West Sohag wind farms and Aswan solar power plants.

Egypt has also in recent months adopted a program to alleviate loadshedding by cutting electricity two hours a day due to sudden decline in production in the "Dhar" gas field from 2.7 billion cubic feet per day to 2.4 billion cubic feet coinciding with the emergence of a problem of foreign cash availability and the reception of 450,000 new refugees from Sudan in A few months caused pressure on the national electricity grid.

The Egyptian state is trying to solve the power outage problem by implementing a series of renewable energy projects to reduce reliance on natural gas and solar for electricity production and it is considering the possibility of importing natural gas from abroad to solve the problem before the summer of 2024

Shalatin Mineral Resources Company delivered shipments of gold to the Central Bank of Egypt ranging from 200 to 220 kilograms during the first quarter of 2024, with a value exceeding 400 million pounds.

Thus, the total quantities of gold delivered from Shalatin Mineral Resources to the Central Bank over the past 9 months are close to 700 kilograms.



In March 2023, Egypt began operating commercial production of gold from the “Iqat” site in southern Egypt, whose reserves are estimated at about 1.2 million ounces of gold, and the recovery rate reaches 95% and is considered one of the highest recovery rates.
