Europe holds a dinner in honor of President Sisi, in the presence of 21 leaders and prime ministers
On the evening of the same day, President Sisi will attend an official dinner hosted by the European side in his honor, in the presence of the leaders of the European countries that are members of the European Union. According to informed sources, the attendance of 21 European Union leaders has been confirmed so far, and the dinner is limited to the leaders of countries and governments.
7.4 billion euros in new European investments for Egypt
Ahmed Abu Zeid, Egypt’s Ambassador to the European Union, confirmed that the Union will inject 7.4 billion euros in new investments into Egypt, covering sectors such as energy, tourism, and education, as part of strengthening economic cooperation between the two sides.
He explained that the European support also includes 5 billion euros in concessional loans and 1.8 billion euros to expand investments, with the participation of major European financial institutions and banks.
He noted that Egypt has become an attractive investment and legislative environment, pointing out that the recent Sharm El-Sheikh summit affirmed Europe’s confidence in the Egyptian economy and Cairo’s diplomatic efforts.
