Hahaha at that picture and comment. You know, I was surfing a few Arab forums and even another Pakistani forum where the bashing of Sisi really surprised me, especially coming from Pakistani folks. I'm going to spend some time and do some research to find out where the root essence of the hate from particularly Pakistani fellas towards Sisi and some Egyptians in general. It doesn't happen much on this forum, even though it used to about 8 years ago or so and there are the occasional spats here and there but nothing like it was.

So I read on this Pakistani forum their comments of the recent deals Sisi has made with Gulf countries particularly the UAE & Saudiya of course regarding investment in the Ras Jamila and Ras Al-Hikma projects was considered by these hateful geniuses to be "selling Egyptian land" for the sake of getting out of tremendous debt. I find these insinuatuions so insulting and so degrading considering you will NEVER hear a single Egyptian talk shit about Pakistan or Pakistani leaders, especially Imran Khan who all us Arabs and especially Egyptians admire to no end. Even going back to Zia Ul Haq and to Musharraf and even one of my favorites in Benazir Bhutto we had nothing but praise.

So hearing this rubbish is not only disheartening, it's dissapointing and its anger-inducing and will eventually develop into resentment. It might explain why there isn't a good, admirable and brotherly connection between the two countries and peoples, sadly. But like the old saying goes, it is what it is and we'll deal with it as it comes.

The bottom line is probably much to these fellas' chagrin, Sisi has not sold any Egyptian lands lol but has rather openend a major fereign investment opportunity that will bring in billions upon billions of $ and is nothing different from China investing in Canada for example, or even in the US or France and so on. But if it's Egyot, it's "selling out"! The joke is on them as Sisi makes evident in the pic above.

Don't bother with those.. ignorance is very bad..it affects its holder more than his target..Most don't educate themselves about subjects they engage in.. they just parrot what they read or hear from yellow media....they feel the urge to criticize, demean (anyone..Arabs in general in this instance) ..to experience some sense of superiority and importance which is nothing but a recognition of an inferiority complex they feel although it is really baseless,. Arabs as we both know refrain from criticizing others..unless they see them as enemies.. which is not the case with Pakistan..

The least to say about this behavior from some Pakistanis, Bengalis and even sadly from some Africans and few others.. is that it is annoying.. but when you understand that it stems from ignorance and an artificial self imposed inferiority complex.. you then know the core element of their thoughts and you just pity them..and move on..

God made life and nature beautiful and fair.. but some will see ugliness even in that beauty.. can you imagine!

God also has its own ways with his creatures.. most of us don't understand or know why we have to go through hardship sometimes to reach happiness.. this seems a universal formula..some will never understand this and will blame everyone else for their faith and short comings..

In a bid to address its demographic challenges, Egypt has unveiled an ambitious project aimed at transforming its desert landscape into a habitable area suitable for agriculture and urban settlement.

With less than 4 percent of its land deemed habitable, accommodating 113.5 million people within such a limited space has proven to be a daunting task for the North African nation.

Comparatively, Egypt's struggle with population density becomes apparent when juxtaposed with countries like Switzerland, which boasts a similar land mass but sustains a population of merely 8.7 million.

Seeking a solution to this conundrum, Egypt's proposal involves the conversion of the desert region in the Qattara Depression into a liveable environment.

The centrepiece of this groundbreaking initiative is the construction of a 55 km canal, dubbed by many as Egypt's £1.5bn 'mini Suez Canal', which will channel water from the Mediterranean Sea into the heart of the desert.

Once completed, this engineering marvel will result in the flooding of the Qattara Depression, creating a sprawling 20,000 square kilometre lake.

The ramifications of this transformation are projected to be profound.

The substantial evaporation of water from the newly formed lake is expected to significantly increase humidity levels and rainfall in the surrounding areas.

Consequently, previously arid lands could become arable, providing opportunities for agricultural development and fostering the establishment of new settlements along the waterfront.
Moreover, the constant influx of water offers immense potential for hydroelectric power generation, which is anticipated to play a pivotal role in sustaining the project economically.

By harnessing the power of water, Egypt aims to not only mitigate its demographic challenges but also create a self-sustaining ecosystem that fuels growth and development.

The proposed project has sparked both excitement and scepticism among experts and the public alike. While some applaud Egypt's innovative approach to addressing its population and resource management issues, others raise concerns regarding the environmental impact and feasibility of such a colossal undertaking.

Implementation of three wind farms with investments of $25 billion in Egypt to produce 25 gigawatts..



On the path of development corridor | Sohag is preparing to host three giant wind farms on the Western Desert Road, with investments exceeding $25 billion, due to the privilege of Upper Egypt with the largest wind speed at the international level, especially the regions west of Sohag and west of Minya.

The new farms, with a production capacity of 25 gigawatts, represent 40% of Egypt's electricity production and 400% of Africa's wind energy production.

1- The first farm: It is being implemented by the Emirati company, "Masdar", with a capacity of 10 gigawatts, with investments of 10 billion dollars. It is expected to start implementation next year, and its implementation period will take 6 years.

2- The second farm: It is being implemented by the Saudi company, "Aqua Power", with a capacity of 10 gigawatts, with investments of $10 billion.

3- The third farm: It is being implemented by the Norwegian company "Scatec", with a capacity of 5 gigawatts, with investments of $5.6 billion.

It is worth noting that Egypt has three wind farms with a production capacity of 1.3 gigawatts, making it the second largest country in Africa in producing electricity from wind after South Africa: the Gabal El-Zeit farm with a capacity of 580 megawatts (the largest in Africa) - the Zaafarana wind farm with a capacity of 545 megawatts - a wind farm Gulf of Suez with a capacity of 250 megawatts, as well as a series of other farms being implemented on the shores of the Red Sea with a capacity of more than 3 gigawatts.

Egypt seeks to reduce dependence on hydrocarbons for electricity generation and to raise the share of renewable resources (winds and sun) from 20% to 45% over the next ten years.


* There are also giant projects for the production of green hydrogen and green ammonia, estimated at more than 100 billion dollars. Egypt is planned to become one of the top 10 producing countries for future fuels, in addition to the need to reduce dependence on gas in power generation and use, to provide it for petrochemical and fertilizer factories, and to maximize its export revenue.
