Samalut axis on the Nile in Minya Governorate
It is 24 km long and 21 meters wide, with two traffic lanes in each direction. It connects the eastern desert road to the western agricultural road north of the city of Samalut and the western desert road crossing the Nile River.
It aims to (facilitate movement to agricultural reclamation areas..Promising projects in western Minya - Contributing to industrial development by achieving optimal use of quarry wealth and cement factories east of the Nile - Contributing to tourism development, especially religious tourism, due to its proximity to religious shrines (the Monastery of the Virgin Mary) and the Holy Family Path east of the Nile)
