40 Countries and 100 Aircraft: The Armed Forces Reveal Details of the Second Edition of the El Alamein International Aviation and Space Exhibition

The Armed Forces organized a ceremony to introduce Egypt's hosting of the second edition of the El Alamein International Aviation and Space Exhibition (EIAS 2026), which will take place next September in El Alamein City. The ceremony was attended by Air Marshal Amr Saqr, Commander of the Air Force; Dr. Sameh El-Hefny, Minister of Civil Aviation; Dr. Eng. Magdy Ismail, CEO of the Egyptian Space Agency; a number of Armed Forces commanders; military and commercial attachés accredited to Egypt; and representatives of leading international aviation companies.

The head of the organizing committee delivered a speech emphasizing the Armed Forces' commitment to organizing the event in a manner that would garner praise from all participating countries, companies, and visitors. He stated that the exhibition is one of the most important aviation events in Africa and the Middle East.

The head of the organizing committee pointed out that the aim of the exhibition is to facilitate the exchange of expertise among participants and to introduce them to the latest technologies in the aviation and space sectors, given the rapid developments the world is witnessing in these fields.

The event included a presentation by the organizing committee and a film. To commemorate the success of the previous edition of the exhibition in Egypt, attended by leading companies and institutions in the aviation and aerospace sectors, reflecting the organizational capabilities of this global event, which serves as Africa and the Middle East's gateway to the latest advancements in aviation and aerospace technology and attracts the attention of both military and civilian sectors.

This edition is expected to feature over 250 exhibitors from 50 countries, more than 50 air shows, and an audience of approximately 12,000 visitors. Over 100 aircraft of various models will participate, in addition to official delegations from around the world.

The ceremony also included presentations by several marketing agents outlining the future vision for the upcoming edition of the exhibition, including its pavilions and exhibiting companies.

The event concluded with dialogue sessions between military and commercial attachés and representatives of leading companies in the field, addressing all inquiries regarding the next edition of the exhibition.

This reflects the Armed Forces' commitment to participating in organizing major international events in Egypt.
