Federal cabinet gives nod to imposition of emergency in KP; summary sent to president

How do you know?
Yes, there is not good cohesion as it can be if distance is involved, but which country breaks up for that reason! Did Greenland ask Denmark to be separated?

Allah na thora zaida mulk da diya , and you couldn't handle that. Now, you blame fate and distance for that. Pathetic logic.

We are not europe! And our geopolitical environment is not the same as Denmark or Greenland. Stop providing stupid examples to oversimplify complicated subjects.

Exactly! Just imagine Danish people "justifying" losing their Greenland 🇬🇱 to USA because that territory is geographically "too far away" to be defended from mainland Denmark. 🇩🇰

Thats exactly whats going to happen if US decides to take military action.

Who says it "should" when the overwhelming majority of Bengalis voted to join Dominion of Pakistan 🇵🇰 instead of joining India or staying as an independent nation after the partition...

No, stop lying. East Pakistani muslims did not vote to join west Pakistan rather it was a collective decision by Muslim leaders and British Raj.

Another disaster of this purple ink drenched democratic process nonsense you keep blindly advocating for. In fact, this is a good illustration of Platonic arguments against representative democratic process.

Ask yourself now what was logical, with the benefit of hindsight. Common folk in 1947 cannot have reasoned beyond the level they had the capacity/knowledge/ foresight to reason with.

What happened of course happened...however, if serious military minds had considered the realities of Indian hostility to Pakistan and the geographic checkmate of widely separated East and West wings of our nation, they would have overruled this democratic nonsense in a second. We would have said to Dhaka, sorry folks but this set-up is not tenable.

I'm not saying it was necessarily "wrong" to create the nation the way it was created - we took a step in favour of what was rightful morally and in terms of our legacy as south Asian muslims - but strategically, it was an error, and no amount of emotively waving the inked fingers of illiterates around will change that.

Do YOU? You keep complaining this filth of derogatory personal attacks was FIRST "introduced" by PTI in politics and yet — I have shown historical examples of this filth existing all the way back to 1964! 🙄
Show me even a couple examples from Pakistan's prior political history of such filth that PTI brought in Pakistani politics.

PTI is just a provincial government. All they could do was strengthen the KP Police and they did that.

Baaqi fauj sambhaalti hay. Fauj controls the border, fauj controls the rangers, the interior ministry has always belonged to a fauji or someone they hand-picked. Same with defence ministry.

I gain no benefit from assigning blame from one Pakistani to another but lets get our facts straight on who was doing what.

I dont think you understood my argument.
PTI leadership and its followers claim dialogue is the only option so what has been their talking points with TTP? Has PTI able to convince TTP to disarm and accept Pakistan sovereignty?
So far what I have observed that PTI specially its followers is only giving TTP moral support by constantly labeling Pakistan forces as dollar army and that they are fighting for just cause.

You didn't have the will and capability. Stop blaming the surroundings.

Good to see people approaching the matter with foresight and maturity. No profanities, no talk of 1971 and no inquilab.

The federal government sensed this and made the move.

You didn't have the will and capability. Stop blaming the surroundings.

You can not and should not ignore your surroundings. Just like PTI is ignoring the fact Afghanistan government and its people do not accept Pakistan's borders and they claim 2/3 of our territory.

Happy reading:
On his part, Ayub was busy trying to be re-elected president in January 1965 in a bitter campaign that pitted him against the sister of Pakistan's founder, Mohammad Ali Jinnah. Though old and quite inarticulate, his opponent, the much venerated Fatima Jinnah, created a huge political buzz, drawing the disparate opponents of Ayub's regime into a coalition. Her rallies drew large crowds and scared Ayub and his cohort to the extent that Ayub even launched a personal attack against her, referring to the unnatural state of her relationship with Jinnah.
