50% of the public do not even vote, the rest 50% atleast 10% is tappa vote, and 40% vote on baradarism, secterianism or personal benefit. When Nawaz Sharif was removed noone did anything, same when Mushraff went, Zia was killed, Benazir, Bhutto hanged, the majority public only want to live their lives in peace, people will mention Bangladesh but will forget Pakistan only broke with Indian military intervention. Today PTI is removed, the public will get used to it, give it a few weeks.

Why is it that when riots happen you have looters?
There is a category of people in every society including the west and the east that had both less or nothing to lose - and feel a great sense of deprivation and frustration - which then comes out at times for part support and part genuine "lets burn it all down".
This is the same category that breaks KFC or burns Telenor, that attacks public property or puts fire to vehicles.
Half of them are encouraged by elements within these political parties because they TOO know that this is the only expression of chaos available to them - and the rest are just along for the fun.
It's the same tendency of the crowd gathering around an accident - and then the random person will try to further fuel the confrontation because it is their daily frustration that needs to come out as well.
As far as this usual cycle of system vs change ideals..

Because the public is so harangued with chaos, lack of law and order - that they would not care if you break up Pakistan.
Yes, a section of society will decry it - some will got through the stages/cycles of grief but then go back to surviving.

When I again and again said that the people of KPK were tired of the way the PTI govt was handling the province and there was no significant work done by the PTI govt in ANY field under it's disposal....
These overseas " shah sei ziyada shah k wafadar " would attack me over commentary and brain washing by YouTube rage baiters and psyop players.
Well, here is the result of prioritizing 1 man over the lives of 4 crore people. In the exact opposite of the ideology that man had preached.
Not only did you not create social media pressure over the whole KPK cabinet but you also made an executive who ruled over 4 crore people into a personal pet and a jester. Ignoring his people almost completely.
Cheers to you the overseas Pakistani who thought what was happening for the past 3 to 4 years in the province, was normal.
Now what has been done is done...
Establishment and Noonis have 2.5 years to fix the mess that's KPK governance to the point where writ is established and normal poitics can continue...
Best of luck to them for the sake of my homeland and its people.

There's no doubt that there are problems in the system but you don't start hacking at the one tree you have upon seeing a sapling... Hoping that it will become a tree as strong as that one...
It takes years to replicate something like Turkey.. Years of service and unrelenting deliverance makes the people stand up as they did for Erdogan..

Beautifully put, uncle story time. My niece came over to Pakistan last year from Canada so I promised my brother I would show the around the village etc, I picked them up from Islamabad and bundled them into the car and on our way to join the motorway she made a really interesting observation:
"The people of Pakistan look so resigned, they drive in his unbearable heat, in this queues of cars that snake across this long stretch of road, and no one protests, everyone is just droning along"...
For a moment, I paused and thought, damn she is going to be a philosopher when she grows up, and then I told her
"it is because people are too busy surviving, in Canada people think about what movie they are going to watch at the Cinema, or the next Ice Hokey match with their friends, in Pakistan most people think, will I be able to bring tamatar and anday back home for my wife and kids."

Domestic politics aside, supposedly after the recent meet in Moscow, where Taliban were also invited, GoP now believes that no external pressure will be placed on the Taliban to mend their ways. So the thinking is that the house needs to be sorted out within KPK ourselves instead of relying on friends and external power centers to reign in the Taliban.
Only time will tell whether this will usher in a higher level of internal security & stability.

yea this wont go well to be honest. I am no big fan of PTI govt but .. the establishment has yet again given it a pass by making it a victim.
now no one will question its lack of performance or anything constructive done for the people but will curse Punjab and establishment for antagonising the Pashtons.
TTP and Pashteen will also use the ethnic card.
but my suspicion is that KP CM Afridi wanted to be arressted and emergency imposed to bail himself from the cult of Imran that is upset that Imran has not been freed and also the general public that wonders what PTI has done for the KP so far despite being voited in 3 times.
