What if you cut the fiber optic Cable. What happens to the drone? How is it different than wire guided missile, except being much slower than it.

No way to cut it. It's very thin and transparent type.
Jamming on the other hand these days is way more easy.
Damn Russians never cease to amaze when it comes to building reliable and cheap weapons.
